If I read this correctly, no he is not. Just like the thousands who
died at Pearl Harbour are just as dead.
There is a theory that suggests that the US Government LET Japan
attack Pearl Harbour, that they knew damn well that it was going to be
attacked. BUT, they needed to have a reason to join WWII - which the
majority of the American People at the time DID NOT want to do.
So the inferance then, if you are in to conspiracy theories, is that
the US Government KNEW that a terrorist attack was in the works - and
that (possibly) they LET it happen to anger the American People -
which ultimately gave them an excuse to go into Iraq. Is it possible
that the US Government wanted to go in and was just looking for a
reason?
I dunno.
What I do know is that the WHOLE scenario smells VERY fishy.
I never did get how the US Government joined the dots from Osama Bin
Ladin to Sadam Husein. As far as I know, there has NEVER been any
proof to link the two. And since they occupation of Iraq, no weapons
of mass destruction have been found. But, of course, it is too late.
You cannot undo what has been done. The invasion took place, and the
US Government got their way (surprize, surprize).
But hey, I'm just an uninformed canuck! What do I know? It was not my
country that was attacked. And, despite what the US Government knew -
or did not know as the case may be - it is obvious that someone was
attacking on their soil and threatening thier soveriegnty. The attack
was brutal and definitely premeditated. There ARE some bad-***** dudes
out there that are seriously dangerous.
How Politicians choose to twist the situations to thier own ends is
another story, but it does not change "the facts" (whatever they are!)
