I don't have a problem with a congregation shunning someone who is truly
being disruptive to the rest of the congregation. I've known people
who've cause massive problems for their respective churches by spreading
false stories about other members and/or ministers. I mean, really
horrible, reputation shattering stories that were made up because of petty
jealousies and competitiveness.
I thought religion was supposed to curb these negative emotions not
amplify them. :-D
I do have a problem with supposed religious leaders who refuse to have
finances be made available to the congregation, refuse to follow the rules
of their own organization to share power, and, even worse, betray the
confidence of their parishioners, which, IMHO, is the absolute lowest of
the low.

This is just the exercise of power -- something that was at the root of
religion before modernish forms of gov't evolved.

How are you doing Woods? I missed you posting upon my return -- it's
good to 'see' you back!
I wasn't gone for very long, just a couple of weeks, I think. Just got
too busy and too many people using my computer. (Why, I don't know -
we've got more computers than people here .... must be because mine is
centrally located in the living room, so it's more convenient, or something)
Here's what I did yesterday -- made some whole wheat 'burger buns --
fair bit of dairy and canola oil in these babies but they were very
light and lovely to eat (baked some skinless boneless chicken breasts in
an Italian breadcrumb coating then tossed them in the buns with some
mayo, tomato and lettuce ... yummers!)
Beautiful!! I mean the photo *and* the rolls! I used to love to bake
breads, but now I just don't have the time.
You really are an excellent photographer, Marv.

Thank you for the kind words Woods!
I'm hoping on finding a decent brand name digital SLR sometime in the
near future.
I just made *another* dozen buns this afternoon. Off to work in a
couple of hours to bake a pile of more bread ... it's my new addiction!
Cheers!
