Has anyone guessed the CULT Classic that I am referring to ???
How about a CULT Classic called "The Ninth Gate".
Its a story about a Historian that 'Aligns' with a Satanic 'Worshipper' =
to find the TRUE "Meaning of life" through a collection of scriptures =
written by a worshipper of Satan. And, his quest to 'Validate' these =
scriptures.
It is a Brian DePalma classic -- as it proves if you believe in =
Demonology, you will eventually sarcoma to its Fundamental Believes =
(much like the Islamic Fundamentalist).
If you haven't seen this Movie, it is because of only one of two reasons =
- it is either to close the TRUTH that it question you about the =
Validity of your own FAITH, or you Belief in Christianity makes the =
Theme 'Blasphemy".
Either way, It is a CULT Classic for a reason. It explores the GOOD and =
Righteousness of all humanity, and how easily any human can be easily =
infatuated with the 'Darker Side' of Reality !!!

Or that entertainment is fact, it was not a bad movie, but Roman
Polanski made the movie, not De Palma, it was fun I would have liked to
have seen more of those brothers, they had a weirdness.

I would not call it SF, maybe horror of just esoteric, but how he gets
the fundie thing I do not know, obsession is probably a better word to
describe their behaviour.
You can tell it is Polanski by the focus and flow of the sets.
