I love the character, Borat. He sucks people into embarassing
situations. First he gets people clapping about throwing the transport
down the well...then changes that to Jews...now people are still
clapping...why? Some maybe because they just think this guy is a
little wacko from an alien culture, and are being polite, or maybe
others because they are anti-semitic. Who knows? The funniest thing
is how Borat maneuvres people into embarrasing situations. This is
from the Ali - G show, which is Hilarious! It's a huge hit, probably
because it's off the wall, but also original. Apparently millions of

I've seen price ranges from 'pretty cheap' (like 15 to 18 US Dollars
a fifth) to 'pretty steep' (30 or more US Dollars for a fifth of whisky).
I guess the price depends a lot on quality and brand name.
Sometimes I keep a 1.5 liter bottle of Vodka in the freezer for
mixing with orange juice and other tropical fruit mixes (just add
crushed ice), and I can pick up one of these bottles fairly
cheaply, say $20 or less.
(Bet it's about half the price of what we pay here !!!)

Ahhhh. Thanks Wally. I know an English audience would simply throw
rotten tomatoes at him, not fall around laughing. That background
artificial 'laughter' they use is so annoying! Do they give liberal
doses of drugs to 'live' audiences, by the way?
They appear to be in constant euphoria, screaming, standing, whistling
etc, for the slightest thing.=20
