This is where we are headed if we accept things like Janet's forced
exposing of her boob.
If women do not have any more respect for themselves than that, then how
are we supposed to teach little boys to have respect for them?
-----------------------------------------------------------
Two South Florida boys are charged with the sexual battery of a
10-year-old girl at an elementary school, local sheriff's officials
said.
The Broward County, Florida, Sheriff's Office Wednesday said the two
boys, ages 11 and 12, are being charged with sexual battery and lewd or
lascivious exhibition.
A sheriff's office spokesman said the boys Wednesday pushed the girl
into a bathroom at Royal Palm Elementary School in Lauderhill, a
community northwest of Fort Lauderdale.
The two boys, whose names were not released because of their ages,
allegedly exposed themselves and committed sex acts on her, the
spokesman said.
A teacher who learned of the alleged incident contacted police.
The girl was examined at the county's Sexual Assault Treatment Center,
which determined evidence of sexual battery.
A juvenile court judge will determine if the boys will be released into
their parents' care or if they will remain at a facility for juvenile
offenders, said spokesman Jim Leljedal.
The girl is undergoing counseling, he said. The girl said the boys had
been harassing her for "several months," according to the sheriff's
department.

Yeah, you should stay away from me.
You don't seem to understand this, but there are certain things that
young children should not be subjected to.
When you and your family sit down for some family viewing, that is what
you are supposed to get. We have cable networks reserved for
"titillating" sexual content.
You do have family oriented Tv viewing over there, don't you?
Now Janet did not expose her breast, Justin Timberlake ripped her top
off exposing it. He had sang that he would have her naked before the end
of the song. I guess we should have believed him? Both were in on it and
they betrayed the trust that we had in them.
I have no problem with Janet's breast but there is a time and place for
everything.
Children are being exposed to things more and more from the music video
era and it when the performers practically screw each other on stage
with the little bit of clothes they do have on then this sends the wrong
message to kids.
Our kids innocence needs to be protected. We have lived through the RAT
PACK and the BRAT PACK with no problem, but this new generation which
I'm naming the ***** PACK who have no children of their own are going to
learn that we will not tolerate the compromising of the innocence of
children.
Did Steve Tyler and Aerosmith drop their pants or expose themselves?
No....they are COOL and have kids of their own and know what is
acceptable unlike the ***** PACK who will push things to the limit *if*
we let them.

Yeah, you should stay away from me.

You don't seem to understand this, but there are certain things that
young children should not be subjected to.

YOu mean young children shoduln't be allowed to see breasts? My oh my! Janet
Jackoson even had her nipple covered! I dread to think what might happen to
a young child if it saw a nipple! It could put it in its mouth or anything!
Won't somebody PLEEEEEAAAAASE think of the children?

When you and your family sit down for some family viewing, that is what
you are supposed to get. We have cable networks reserved for
"titillating" sexual content.

It wasn't any worse than what a family might see at the beach.

You do have family oriented Tv viewing over there, don't you?

I suppose so, but there's always teh chance you might see a flash of tit in
a trailer for a film in teh ad break. People are a bit less hysterical about
that sort of thing here, and the society hasn't descended into rape and
child abuse as a result. In fact, it has a lower STD and teenage pregnancy
rate than the US by a long, long way.

Now Janet did not expose her breast, Justin Timberlake ripped her top
off exposing it. He had sang that he would have her naked before the end
of the song. I guess we should have believed him? Both were in on it and
they betrayed the trust that we had in them.
I have no problem with Janet's breast but there is a time and place for

era and it when the performers practically screw each other on stage
with the little bit of clothes they do have on then this sends the wrong
message to kids.

Well, statistics indicate the earlier a child is educated about sex (i.e. th
e biological, social, emootional aspects and contraception etc) , the later
they actually do it. If you tell them it's
bad/wrong/naughty/disgusting/forbidden then you'll ***** their heads up AND
make them want to find out what all the fus is about as soon and as
irresponsibly as possible.

Our kids innocence needs to be protected. We have lived through the RAT
PACK and the BRAT PACK with no problem, but this new generation which
I'm naming the ***** PACK who have no children of their own are going to
learn that we will not tolerate the compromising of the innocence of

Did Steve Tyler and Aerosmith drop their pants or expose themselves?

No, they took heroin and screwed loads of groupies instead.

No....they are COOL and have kids of their own and know what is
acceptable unlike the ***** PACK who will push things to the limit *if*
we let them.

I shouldn't get involved but I can't help myself...

Where appropriate, take "you" and derivatives to mean society.

So, there's murder and violence all over your screens but Janet's boob
alone is drawing down the collapse of civilisation? This is what you
get for being founded by puritans. You ought to get a grip and figure
what's *really* important for your kids... because it kinda sounds
like it's okay to send them off to heaven with a bullet in the brain
as long as that brain hasn't been exposed to secondary sexual
characteristics. How about classical statues and paintings, 18+?

Do you recall the probe sent out of the solar system some years back
that contained recordings and pictures including an engraving of a
naked man and woman? I remember fuss in the US about sending
pornography into space at the taxpayer's expense. LOL I can just
imagine aliens screeching in horror and scrambling to cover the feet.
Standards of decency are almost entirely arbitrary and remarkably
silly when examined closely.
Kids. If you make a fuss then you'll make it exciting; you'll fire
their natural curiosity. Boys I knew preferred to meet girls from the
convent for just that reason. Ultimately it's your society to do with
as you please but I'm bound to point out that these attitudes will
often have the opposite effect from that which you intend. Kids will
spot the cognitive dissonance from miles away. Worst of all, they have
a sixth sense for parental embarrassment. In short, make a big deal
and it becomes a big deal… surely the hottest topic in the schoolyard.
Ignore it and… ho-hum. Assuming it was intentional, then you were
played for the reaction you gave it.

I was prompted by an article to download a clip and ask the following.
If this moral breast-beating is about the kids, how is it that Janet's
exposure (nice ring btw) is threatening to children's innocence
whereas the energetically choreographed and simulated rear-entry sex
barely makes mention? Do you suppose that kids are oblivious to that?
Would there have been ~200,000 complaints to the FCC without the
physical display? No, it's just a convenient hook on which to hang
accumulated parental panic. Much of which, I'm guessing, is informed
by the warped memories of their own adolescence. The incongruity of
all this fuss in a country where porn is a massive industry is
downright quaint.

Hadn't thought of that one. I was thinking of the young girl
who recently was cornered in a bathroom by two or three boys.
Not sure if she could fight her way out of that, or if they
would allow her to leave.

I believe my previous statement "Practically screwing through their

sentences of up to four years, were likely.

Also arbitrary and remarkably silly at times are peoples reactions
to different visual and other sensual stimuli in different
contexts.
I guess we'll be rid of this mess when we stop having emotions.

This group floats atop self-obsessed US navel gazing... do a quick

are merely selected for fear and hatred value. There's something
curiously odd about a society that goes into an apoplectic frenzy over

WTC's per annum. Forget for a second how it happened, imagine that it
was totally accidental, "a wardrobe failure" - how different then the

turned crimson.

The vast majority of childhood firearm deaths are aged 15 or older,

Yes, it IS an answer. Just because you don't hear a large outcry (as
you have for a Super Bowl related event), that doesn't mean a constant
outcry against violent entertainment doesn't exist. It does exist.

There's something curiously odd about a society that goes into an
apoplectic frenzy over a popped boob yet is blind to murder and
mayhem on the scale of 10 WTC's per annum. Forget for a second how
it happened, imagine that it was totally accidental, "a wardrobe failure"
- how different then the reaction? Not much I suspect, millions
of parents would still have turned crimson.

A breast accidentally popping out of a costume would have been viewed
far differently ... the problem was not simply an exposed breast
(although you and others have tried to make it that), it was a partial
disrobing of a woman ... by a man, who sang "I will have you naked by
the end of this song."

I think a standard of decency that prohibits a man from grabbing a
woman's breast and ripping off her top is an excellent standard of
decency. How about you?

No. But when an 11 year old goes to school next week and rips off little

There were some middle school kids here in Florida who were caught at

I think you miss my point - there is something wrong with our culture if a
woman's breast is seen as sexually titillating while at the same time there's no
such connotation with a man's breast. The only reason this is so is because
people insist on keeping them covered up at all times if they happen to be on a
female, but not on a male. This kind of attitude has led to all sorts of
problems with women who breastfeed their infants in public - strange, don't you
think, that it's not okay to use a breast for what its intended purposes is
because people think it's real purpose is to excite the male? (Which doesn't
occur in cultures who don't keep them covered up).
That said, we've obviously got a ways to go, and those middle school girls sound
dumb enough to be in a Special Class.

We determine what's acceptable in our society and I'm certain, as a

When I've seen women breast-feeding in public, my thoughts are
different on this. Women with children are not a sexual context
at all, and I think breast-feeding in public should be allowed.
I guess it has to do with the context of a woman baring her
breast.

That said, we've obviously got a ways to go, and those middle school
