I just must ask...how many of you have visited America? Isn't it
kinda pompous to assume you know so much abut us without ever having
spent any amount of time here? And not to mention utterly un
impartial, speculative, biased and ignorant? Krib, (from England) for
any of those out there reading who don't know who Krib is has visited
here a few times and he had nothing but good things to say about his
stay here...I even recall him saying America is "great" once.
Really, how can you know without seeing first hand? Before I visited
England I thought they were all stuck up snobs; placing forks, spoons
and knives in their proper positions at the dinner table and always
being stern, serious, always sophisticated and utterly humourless.
Oh boy was I wrong! They are some cool, laid back funny bastards.
See I had a preconceived notion because they have a King and a Queen;
it was like a fairy tale to me - riches and jewels, Royalty, princes
and princesses - knights in shining Armour etc.. but when I got there
it was NOTHING that I imagined. And I was ashamed of myself for
thinking they were snobs before even giving them a CHANCE. See, I
learned my lesson...I wonder if any of you ever will.
And the *extremists* - the ones that are constantly talking about
America and how this is wrong and that is right - that's up when it
should be down and right instead of left. Those who spend so much
time with your thoughts consumed by us need to really stop and think
about what you're doing. You're not hurting us; quite the contrary,
you're hurting yourselves (mentally) by your unhealthy obsession with
every tiny aspect of our lives.
Visit America - then come back and talk to me. 'Till then your
ravings and your blind hate hold absolutely no water.
Dani

Well, limited experience considering the size of the place, Dani. I've

Speak as you find. Right, I found you to be quite a hospitable crowd
really. I had problems understanding what you were trying to say at

America are pretty average as far as people go. Some cultures are more

The problem with Americans, is the image they portray to the world.
This is a generalisation of course, there are many Americans who
travel abroad normally. Sadly, the majority I meet in places as far

for the American traveller of this sort. Demanding, loud, seeking
attention and boasting endlessly. I had to...umm chastise...one such

Anyway, I don't believe posters really hate Americans as such. You are
the victims of your 'Master's' and their world domination policies. It
is the ceaseless grasping nature of the American Government that gives
rise to the general anti-American sentiments. Briefly, the world has
had enough of your interference. Dislike, hatred, is naturally enough
transfered from your Policy Makers to encompass all Americans. Whilst
this is patently wrong, it is also an inevitable result of your
Nation's policies.
I do my best to be fair, too hate everyone equally, but Americans have
a way when abroad, of climbing to the top of my dislike list. You seem
more normal and reasonable 'at home'.
Mind, I am a poor judge. I have a hatred for just about everything in

It's sometimes shocking when you say things like taking chainsaws to

Really, hospitable? In New York? LOL! I'm kidding...thank you.
I had problems understanding what you were trying to say at
times...your form of English is rather an abridged one.
Yeah, I had some trouble understanding what some were saying when I
visited Ireland and England, too. One guy called his own *father* (to
his face) a "*****" in Ireland! LOL! I could not believe my ears. In
America, you would never hear that. First of all, the word "*****" is
a word in America that is used in a derogatory form towards women
*only* - men don't call other men cunts. Nor do men call other men
twats or douchebags. All of those words are thrown at women only. And
I heard someone call his dad a *****! LOL! The father didn't even get
mad...it was like it was normal for them.
Never quite liked how often you guys use the word "bloody" either.
But hey - different countries, different cultures, different accents.
Maybe we're just accustomed to our own ways of speaking and are taken
aback, intimidated or a bit confused when we hear a way of speaking
that we don't fully understand and aren't familiar with.
Americans in
America are pretty average as far as people go. Some cultures are more

Thanks. I liked the people in Ireland and England. Not so much
France. Listen to this story...I ordered a cup of coffee in France,
right, and the guy came back with a cup *so small* that it looked like
one of those cups that come with a little girls' "Tea Party" set. Oh
I laughed my ***** off - I just sat there for about 30 seconds staring
at the cup in my hand in utter disbelief. Then I (politely) told the
waiter that I wanted a *normal* size cup of coffee. He got all mad
and firmly said : "That's it!" I said "Ha, what's it?" And he said
"That's the size of the coffee cup!!" ..this time in an angry voice. I
laughed and said "You're kidding me, I'm outta here." Then he started
yelling about me to another guy that worked there in French. Hehe.
No, I don't know French but it was rather obvious that he was talking
about me.
So, I also have cultures that I like less than more.
The problem with Americans, is the image they portray to the world.
Some Americans. Our government. Bush (goes without saying), and
there's assholes in every country.
This is a generalisation of course, there are many Americans who
travel abroad normally. Sadly, the majority I meet in places as far
afield as Australia to Finland, are mainly 'of a type'. I don't care
for the American traveller of this sort.
When I traveled, I only did a few tourist type things - saw the
Queen's Castle, went to the Heineken Brulry, Saw Anne Franks hiding
attic and saw the Eiffel Tower. But mostly I just hung around with
the locals. Got to know some people. Went to family oriented,
neighborhood bars in Ireland rather than the touristy type
bars (pubs). I ate at Burger King most of the time for Christ sake!
LOL! No fancy restaurants etc.. I really just hung with the local
people - partied with 'em etc..
Demanding, loud, seeking
attention and boasting endlessly.
I was nothing like that when I went. I'm sure you'll find that more
in the older, rich, stuck-up people who meet at the golf club at 7:00
am sharp every Sunday morning. Again, there's bastards everywhere.
I had to...umm chastise...one such

Anyway, I don't believe posters really hate Americans as such.
I couldn't care less if posters hate Bush. I hate him too. I just

*American people* - just your everyday Joe...people they don't even
know and know absolutely about.
You are

Ain't that the truth. I'm tellin' ya, if things really start to go
down hill, and fast (as far as our rights), I am outta here...off on
the next flight. Funnily enough, England is where I've considered
living if it gets too unbearable here.
It

Great reply Dani, great reply..;)
Actually, even when I am feeling moderate, I seem to induce fear in
people. I'm the world's champion 'scowler'. I do it without thinking,
but it seems to people that I am in a rage. That's the reason people
cross the street when I am around, why they hold their children
tighter, and why no-one ever bothers me.
That very loathsome American in Taiwan was an exception, he over-
stepped the mark and had to be chastised.
To coffee...Yes, that doesn't suprise me at all. I know exactly what
you mean, can imagine the precise order of events, and what happened.
Coffee, in all of mainland Europe, not just in France, is served in
small cups and is Hellish strong. I can't drink the stuff...it's
powerful indeed! Actually, I find US coffee a touch bland and too weak
for my liking, but preferable to a normal small French coffee.
It comes down to language really. You have to order the coffee exactly
as you want it, otherwise the standard is served. 'Cafe creme' ou
'Cafe au lait' will do the trick, add ' 'grande tasse' ou 'plus du
lait' ou 'plus d'eau' and of course, 'plus chaud' combine to give you
an excellent coffee. Just in case you visit again!
If you want really vile coffee, then the title is shared between
Senegal and Balinese. Now those are more than merely undrinkable, they
are poisonous. Have to be tasting like that, drop some on your clothes
and the fabric sizzles and holes appear!
I've been looking for somewhere to go, somewhere different for a few
weeks now. Columbia and Peru looked favourites, but I quite fancy an
easy trip this time. Florida fits the bill nicely and offers a chance
to drive over to Memphis. Of course, I would have to blindfold myself
to avoid seeing advertising for that revolting Disney thing there, but
Cape Canaveral looks more than interesting.
I suppose I could offend Steven by wandering the 'Bible Belt',
murdering the Church snakes and burning the silly wooden meeting
houses down.
No..maybe not. I don't have feelings strong enough to entice me along
that route. JTEM is...different. He is in for a suprise. I don't
believe he can retain any credibility whatsoever if he runs from my
offer. I can't say I am bothered either way. I could quite happily
'chastise' him, or quite happily sit back and brand him a coward. The
first choice is the better of course, more final..settle matters
quickly.
I loved Leigh's comment about 'some funny ways' and mentioned your
election system. It's like nothing I have ever seen before. A year
long jamboree replete with bunting and confetti. A jamboree where
attracting a passing actor who holds 'influence' with the public and
who supports you, is highly prized. Yep. US Elections are amazing
things! Very much like a year-long Disney carnival. I'm not at all
suprised the people make mis-informed decisions by the time the
polling date arrives.
I could go on...it's nice to talk to you, but this is already becoming
quite a lengthy post. Put it this way, You are American, Dani. I like
you. JTEM is American, I hate him. It's people that one has sentiments
about really, not Nations.

yelling about me to another guy that worked there in French. Hehe.
No, I don't know French but it was rather obvious that he was talking
about me.
So, I also have cultures that I like less than more.
The problem with Americans, is the image they portray to the world.
Some Americans. ?Our government. ?Bush (goes without saying), and
there's assholes in every country.
?But mostly I just hung around with
the locals. ?Got to know some people. ?Went to family oriented,
neighborhood bars in Ireland rather than the touristy type
bars (pubs). ?I ate at Burger King most of the time for Christ sake!
LOL! ?No fancy restaurants etc.. I really just hung with the local
people - partied with 'em etc..
Demanding, loud, seeking
attention and boasting endlessly.
I was nothing like that when I went. ?I'm sure you'll find that more
in the older, rich, stuck-up people who meet at the golf club at 7:00
am sharp every Sunday morning. ?Again, there's bastards everywhere.
I had to...umm chastise...one such
in Taiwan last year.
Anyway, I don't believe posters really hate Americans as such.
I couldn't care less if posters hate Bush. ?I hate him too. ?I just
don't like (and find very ignorant) when people say they hate the
*American people* - just your everyday Joe...people they don't even
know and know absolutely about.
You are
the victims of your 'Master's' and their world domination policies.
Ain't that the truth. ?I'm tellin' ya, if things really start to go
down hill, and fast (as far as our rights), I am outta here...off on
the next flight. ?Funnily enough, England is where I've considered
living if it gets too unbearable here.
It
is the ceaseless grasping nature of the American Government that gives
rise to the general anti-American sentiments. Briefly, the world has
had enough of your interference. Dislike, hatred, is naturally enough
transfered from your Policy Makers to encompass all Americans. Whilst
this is patently wrong, it is also an inevitable result of your
Nation's policies.
Put it this way - I *cried* - yes, actual tears when Bush was
re-elected. ?So, needless to say - I hear ya.
I do my best to be fair, too hate everyone equally,
LOL.. there you go again .. ;)
but Americans have
a way when abroad, of climbing to the top of my dislike list. You seem
more normal and reasonable 'at home'.
Well.. even if I was at home and ordered a cup of coffee and was
brought a tiny little tea cup (lol) I would sure as hell not be
reasonable about it here either!
Mind, I am a poor judge. I have a hatred for just about everything in
life. Sometimes that grows into a blood lust. I do hope JTEM is 'free'
in the next few weeks.
Hehe.
Dani
Great reply Dani, great reply..;)
Thank you, Ricky.
I try to be nice to everyone. My philosophy is to always let the
other person start the fight first, then I defend myself. But ahhh,
sometimes my philosophy doesn't fly so well after I've had a few too
many beers .. :)
Okay, thank you...I'll remember that. That waiter *really* didn't
like me, that's for sure. Oh, and I don't want everyone to think I
wasn't too fond of France just because of the tiny tea cup incident
(lol), no...it was more than that. I got the vibe over there that the
people didn't like *me* actually. And they weren't anywhere near as
nice and friendly as Ireland, England and Amsterdam. There was also
the language barrier - I don't speak French.
If you want really vile coffee, then the title is shared between
Senegal and Balinese. Now those are more than merely undrinkable, they
are poisonous. Have to be tasting like that, drop some on your clothes
and the fabric sizzles and holes appear!
You're kidding me!
Yeah, Florida is nice this time of year (I lived there for a little
bit). It's freezing cold in Boston where I am right now. So if
you're not into the cold, snowy weather, Florida would be a good
choice. Have you ever been to California? That would also be a good
choice this time of year.
The
first choice is the better of course, more final..settle matters
quickly.
I can't be 100% positive but I really don't think JTEM would ever meet
you in person. He's more of a "stay safe behind my keyboard and vomit
all over everyone" type of "fighter" I believe.
I'm just so happy that Duhbya has run his course. No more Bush after
next election! Yay! But...big problem is, who (if anyone) can redeem
us after all the damage that he has caused?
I could go on...it's nice to talk to you, but this is already becoming
quite a lengthy post. Put it this way, You are American, Dani. I like
you. JTEM is American, I hate him. It's people that one has sentiments
about really, not Nations.
Thanks for that, Ricky. It's no fun to feel "hated" by people who
don't know me. I'm actually a likeable, pretty cool person...probably
why it pisses me off to hear how hated I am when I *know* if the same
people who claim to hate me got to know me, they wouldn't hate me
anymore.
Anyway, good talking to you, too.
Cheers,
Dani

millions of INNOCENTS worldwide, that it was inevitable that INNOCENTS

still don't get it do you? America sews the wind, and it reaps what
it sews...and it's only just begun. I'm tired of this American
mentality that Americans are somehow more Human, More Worthy, or
whatever...A life is a Life. If American govt's are responsible for
millions of innocent deaths, and suffering worldwide, and ignore it,
and only pay attention when their innocents are killed, then that's
what's not Cool. You Bastards have killed a hundred times as many
Innocents just in the last few years than died in 9-11. Do you get it
yet, why the World hates you Bastards? Again, Dani, dense as you are,
I'm not talking ALL AMERICANS....but as I've said before, insofar as
Western Democracies are concerned, you have the largest percentage of
Arrogant, Hypocritical, Ignorant, and Misinformed and Fat Bastards
than most. America still has the death Penalty, Tortures people,
many think the Sun revolves around the earth etc.,

Islamic terrorists have conducted attacks on (for example) the

Eric, you're asking for grief from the parrot douglas and his
simplistic narrowminded view of the world and his hatred of anything
not Christian...particularly if it's Islamic.
He didn't mention the Muslim countries attacked by Christians since
WWII and even earlier, nor the interference in them by Christians, nor
the support of nasty nut case dictators in most of these countries by
Christians. That doesn't suit his 'cause' whatever it might be.
Theo Van Gough was murdered by a lone lunatic...it was NOT a
conspiracy by Muslims to kill him.
Death and destruction was NOT caused in Denmark by Muslims...not even
a riot. In France the downtrodden/poor from the slums rioted due to
being treated like 2nd class citizens in their own country...they
happened to be Muslims. They did NOT riot BECAUSE they were Muslims
they rioted because they are discriminated against. They did NOT cause
DEATH to anyone!
In Nigera the Muslims might have ran amok due to the Muhammad
characatures in Jyllandsposten in Denmark I can't remember. But if
they did cause "death and destruction" then this would be the only
smidgen of truth in what the parrot said.
Anyway, best to ignore the *****. He'll infuriate you with his
ignorance and childish way of debating...although I expect you already
know that :-)

Mind you the douglas you've been to Christian school to downtalk other
religions haven't you? You have actually learned how to do it.
Islamic terrorists have conducted attacks on (for example) the
Philippines, China, Egypt, Algeria, Bangladesh, Indonesia; and none
of
those attacks had anything to do with America.
Of course not...Phillipines is a war of independence...nothing really
to do with religion as such but the ones wanting independence just
happen to be Muslims. So Muslims are the problem eh douglas?
China eh? No such thing as religion. Whatever it happens to be...not
state recognised. The Muslim terrorists in China you mention are
fighting for independence for their country...NOT their religion!
Egypt: Taking my kids there next summer if I am still alive. Wonderful
place, been there before. Lots of friends there. Great place. Very
relaxing.
I can't be bothered to mention the rest of the countries you used in
your list the douglas. You've never been to any of them so you know
nothing. Absolutelty nothing! ***** all! The only thing you have going
for you is the american news and newspapers. You have absolutely no
experience of the world. So tell you what...you need some info on the
mid east ask me. I spent almost ten years travelling around that part
of the world. Only in the last four years or so did I travel to the
far east but Wolfy has much more experience than me of that part of
the world so ask him for advice there. But do something 'cos you're a
twat!
