Yeah, I know - it sets in fast when you're far away from home. You need
to join some clubs or something to fill your time and meet
similarly-minded people. That will help your transition time.
I still say Dani ought to be in California. In Florida she'll get
sucked into that trap of dyeing her hair blue and driving around
in an 8cylinder cadillac. She's a Florida Blue Hair in the making.

Hey Dani......How about that wind yesterday!
Scary, wasn't it?!!
No rain - just 60mph wind gusts!
We lost power for several hours due to downed power lines. It set off my
security alarm unbeknownst to me, I was sleeping since I couldn't do
anything else and it was too dangerous to drive. My phone downstairs and
my cell phone was ringing off the hook.....it was the security company,
My husband, my mom all trying to get ahold of me and when I finally
answered I discovered the police had had been dispatched and they were
parked outside checking out my house. I was afraid to go outside in fear
I'd be shot as an intruder in my own home. I went out with my hands up..
:-O
I got another F****ING ticket! This one a $25 false alarm citation.
With my speeding ticket, this false alarm ticket and Tony's pending
*alleged* lawsuit......I fear I may have to go and get a job! ;)

The alarm wasn't even set when the power went off.
They said they were receiving an "unidentified signal" and since they
couldn't reach me by phone, they dispatched the police.

Aaaaarghhhh.......these modern amenities!
Nothing but a pain in the butt.
I never had all these problems before cell phones and alarms. I hate
having to be available to a little silver gadget 24/7....and then the
*one* time you don't answer it.......
I want to move to Gilligan's Island.....with the professor and Mary Ann
- no phone - no lights - no fricking tickets!~ :)

Contact your homeowners' insurance and see about filing a claim to
collect for the ticket.
