Making a lot of assumptions there, too bad Nostradamus did NOT write
about the S11 attack.
But a Leoni may straighten it out for you!
CXQ 49. Jaubert ( 1656) explains that this quatrain represents `a
reply to one Monsieur Jardin about the future of his son Cosme (Greek
cosmos, world). The name is chiefly associated with the Medici Cosimo.
Aside from this nonsense, the quatrain is predicting a new eruption of
Vesuvius, about fifteen miles from the most famous of "new cities,"
Naples (Nea-polis, new city). "Garden of the world" refers to the
lava-enriched, fertile Campanian plain between Naples and Vesuvius.
Quatrain 187 seems to predict the same. Though Vesuvius has erupted
often, notably in 1631, its lava has never bothered Naples. Boswell
(1941, pp. 349-50) sees the prophecy as involving the Palisades in New
jersey, the new city being New York.

I don't understand how you turned "chemin" into trade -- based on an English
word link?
I see chemin refer to streets, paths, railroad tracks, etc. It just seems
to mean a generic path.
I do like your notice of "montaignes" vs. "montanges", yet it's clear that
the word is being used substantively, i.e., in lieu of a noun, since
"hollow" is clearly an adjective. It's better translated "hollow
mountainous things".
What else could this be besides skyscrapers? Maybe a huge ship, but not
likely. It's probably a fitting description for something that Nostradamus
"saw" but really had no other words for in the language of his day. "hollow
mountainous things" seems rather apt.

Laszlo,
wasn't it you that our pet lizard, Tony, threatened back in 2001?

Won't you all join me in letting NASA know that this clown is posting under
their name.

If so, welcome back... and I sincerely hope it didn't happen.
Anyhoo, Tony has house-***** standing these days -- else the jpegs get

Yes, that was I. I was reprimanded for "criticizing the president" but
there was really nothing they could do to me besides that. We still have
freedom of speech. Of course that was during the time right after 9/11 when
anyone not 200% on board with everything the government did was considered
tantamout to a traitor. Things have since died down considerably.
If so, welcome back... and I sincerely hope it didn't happen.
Thanks. Nice to be back.

What "will be seized"? You seem to take this as a reference to an "airplane
will be seized and plunged".
Obvious subject seems to be "Garden of the World".
