Here are a dozen statements about Nostradamus' works which shall
no doubt provoke a few barking dogs:

Certainly does you doesn't it?

01. Nostradamus' published works are all prophetic.

Undoubtedly.

02. Nostradamus' published works are all encyphered.

Possibly.

03. Nostradamus' method for encyphering his works is the line-
based cryptic anagram, coupled where necessary with a letter for
number substitution.

GOTO 11.

04. Nostradamus' works are not written into any form of language
but constitute meaningful gobbledygook.

Not true.

05. Nostradamus' works are not intended to be translated into any
foreign language.

Then why do you insist on doing so? even though you don't speak the
same language as he did you insist on polluting this newsgroup with
your,laughable, translations, why?

06. Nostradamus' works were constructed so as to reveal their
encyphered nature only after 1945 and before 2017.

You opinion only.

07. Nostradamus' Prophecy concerns one single future event and
the circumstances leading to it.

Your delusion only.

08. Nostradamus' Prophecy ends in the Summer of 2017.

Untrue.

09. Nostradamus is the author of the so-called Malachy Prophecy
(which also ends in the Summer of 2017).

Your opnion only.

10. Nostradamus is the author of the Julian Period.

Your opinion only.

11. I, Claude Latrémouille, have discovered all of the above.

GOTO 3.

12. Woof!

There you go again.

Oh dear studies Nostradamus 25 years, and he puts this up?
Good thing he has no idea of which he claims and as usual nothing of

But then again if he goes where Huskies go, perhaps too much yellow

*
Actually, that was 25 years when I realized that Nostradamus'
poetry was encyphered. And that was in 1994. So, by next year, it
would be... 35 years.
*
And now for a substantive comment about the original article:
*

Good thing he has no idea of which he claims and as usual nothing of
which to base his hypothesis.

*
Would anyone care to translate this into modern English?
*

But then again if he goes where Huskies go, perhaps too much yellow

LB

*
In downtown Toronto, the only yellow snow one gets to see is the
one next to various man-made objects like electricity poles, fire
hydrants, etc. And that's when there is snow on the ground. Most
of winter, sidewalks here are as bare as the best of your posts.

I don't remember seeing you make this claim before. How do you
support it? In your mind, are these encoded as well?

As you can see, two of your three comments above were directed at
me, not at what I wrote. The third referred to what I wrote, but
was centered upon your own person. Whether you remember or not
seeing me making a particular claim before is a function of your
memory and has nothing to do with the reality of what I post. (A
simple search in Google would have given you all my posts on
whatever subject you would have cared to select.)
*
As you indicate that the Malachy/Nostradamus issue has escaped
you, it might be time to re-post some articles about it, already
posted at least a dozen times over the past five years. This I
shall do. Thanks for not barking.

lot about your reconstructed N. quatrains--as does finding your own

So much for that little barking fit... But, as you can see, your
arrogance and air of superiority bring your theories into question, so
in this case, discussing you is discussing your theories. In fact,
your less than pleasant side is the single biggest weakness to your
research. I've mentioned this to you before, but all you hear is
"bark bark." *sigh* I'm not sure why I keep trying...

The third referred to what I wrote, but

So would a simple question to the simple poster, and as I couldnt
resist the urge to mock your arrogance, I chose the question. Also,
as I expected an arrogant, smacked-***** reply, I figured I'd get yet
another chance to mock your arrogance--reflected both in your tone and
your sometimes ludicrous creations based on N.'s quatrains. Thanks
for complying.

As you indicate that the (my take on) Malachy/Nostradamus issue has escaped

This I
shall do. Thanks for not barking.

Why bother? After all, since you chose not to answer me directly, and
indicated your theory on Malachy is public, a simple google search
will allow anyone reading this thread to find them. Maybe you just
enjoy hearing yourself bark.

Perhaps a look at an encyclopedia might assist you here (in
French, it is called "la période julienne"). Suffice it to say
that the Julian Period was published by Joseph Juste Scaliger and
named 'Julian' in memory of his father, Jules César Scaliger, as
the son had found it amongst the papers left by his father after
his death.
*
As the father had never published it himself (an indication that
he was not its author), and as Nostradamus uses it in his works
(an indication that he was its author), and as it was published
by Joseph Juste *after* Nostradamus' death, it is obvious that
Nostradamus could not have gained that knowledge from its later
publication.
*
Nostradamus refers to it as his long astronomical calculation, as
it is in use today mostly by astronomers, who need a convenient
manner of calculating the number of days between two dates.
*
As to its use in the Prophecy, Nostradamus knew that the calendar
would be tampered with after his death (by pope Gregory XIII, by
the French Revolution, by the Russian Revolution, etc.), so he
needed a system for dating events which was independent from the
calendar and... he invented it.
*
It starts January 1, 4713 B.C., at Noon, and lasts 7980 years.
Each day has its own specific number. If you do a Google search,
you will find a discussion about it in article
*

*
The last four digits of the Julian Day number for the day of the
destruction of Paris, August 13, 2017, is... 7980.
*
The statement "...pour d'yci à l'an 3 7 9 7." should be read:
pour d'icy à l'an 7 9 7 3, as both the word "yci" and the number
"3797" need to be reversed. And l'an 7973 is the last four digits
of the Julian Day Number of the Lunar eclipse of August 7, 2017,
immediately preceding the destruction of Paris, as it is during
that Lunar year (from Full Moon to Full Moon) that Paris dies.
*
The statement "Au reuolu du grand nombre septiesme" should be
understood to be a reference to the day (September 2, 2017) when
the last four digits of the Julian dating system end their 7000-
7999 series and start the 8000 series.
*
As you can see, Nostradamus links day and year in both cases. The
duration of the Julian Period is 7980 years. The Julian Day
number of August 13, 2017, ends with... 7980. The end of Paris.
