UDMR head worried by voters' interest in extremist party
The president of the Hungarian Democratic Alliance (UDMR), Marko Bela,
yesterday said the governing coalition should be worried by the
voters' interest in a party such as the New Generation Party, led by
controversial businessman and owner of the Steaua soccer club, Gigi
Becali.
Marko said that the voters' interest in this party proves that their
options are not satisfied by the current political landscape.
"It looks for alternatives in extremes, or outside the traditional
political spectrum," Marko explained, adding that he finds PNG one of
the extremist parties in Romania.
