UNMIK Police: Security Situation in Kosovo Worsened

Pristina. The security situation in Kosovo has worsened, United Nations
International Police in Kosovo /UNMIK Police/ announced, Macedonian
agency Makfax reported. The statement is based on the series of
terrorist attacks on cars and policemen of UNMIK and the Kosovo Police
Service, UNMIK Police Commissioner Kai Vittrup said.
"The attacks started right after the release of the report of UN
Special Envoy Kai Eide on the standards of Kosovo", Vittrup said at a
press conference in Pristina.
He added that the terrorist attacks were organized by people, who
wanted to impose their solution to the future status of Kosovo.
