It won't work, well, it shouldn't work Doc. The father's plan that is.
It's obvious that he has primed the child, and his intent is that this
video is a defence or, at the final hurdle, used as mitigation.
Trouble is, by making the video, he shows he is still breaking the
law. That should ensure his 'defence' fails.
Personaly, I find this very disturbing. The kid's actions and play
broadcast over the 'net isn't the action a responsible Father would
consider. She's a great little kid and deserves better than to be used
as a pawn in her father's fight against drug laws.
Were I his judge, he would get little sympathy, in fact he would be
additionally punished for this attempt to co-erce the condoning of
cannabis. That little girl should not be exposed to taking sides in
her father's self-righteous claims.
Very disturbing.

distribute it on the internet). The fact that he forced a completely
innocent and helpless child to assist him will make him look all the
worse in the eyes of a potential jury. If you want to change the
marijuana laws there are FAR better ways to do it.
Colorado made marijuana legal in our 2 recent state elections, but
since we have no control over Federal laws, the Feds can still
arrest people for smoking dope.

This reply is to all three who've responded so far to the videos I embedded
on my site yesterday.
First, I'd like to know whether this man is on a legal state medical
marijuana program. Strangely, he doesn't mention it, making me believe he's
not. Being defensive about his use of pot would almost certainly had his
including a reference to it.
Second, using a small bewildered child to help "prove" marijuana is "safe"
for parents to use around their kids seems a specious, or at best, a tenuous
display of supportive evidence. Asking the lil' girl whether one of his
plants had "reached out and strangled you", and her answering, with a
giggle, "no," and then proceeding to pursue this line of silly questioning,
seemed more of what an angry, self-obsessed, immature, if not mentally ill,
person would likely do.
Third, having smoked pot and grown it for nearly 30 years (but no longer
using or growing it now), I've been around a lot of folks high on THC, and
have plenty of my own experience to reference under various social
circumstances. And what I detect in the mannerisms and simply the voice and
facial expressions of this guy, tells me that he is a rather troubled
narcissistic character. Having said that, I'm surprised he has custody of
the child (or was it visiting rights we saw?).
Fourth, where is the mother? What happened to this woman? No mention of her
at all. Very odd. Is she buried in the basement, next to some more pot
plants? :)~
Fifth, Lillian is likely in no real danger from the pot, but I'm not so sure
about her daddy. LOL! (sorta sick laugh here) Pot, to me, is a basically
benign herb that has definite medical benefits, both for some psychiatric
problems and many physical ailments. Certainly, the Canadian government
study concluded this, and has made some 150 mental and physical maladies
legal to treat under its national medical marijuana program. But, it's a big
jump from those who have legitimate medical problems having pot to help
them, and raising small vulnerable kids in a drugged environment. Lillian
has no real interest in that green stuff now, of course, but what effect
will it have on her decision-making later? I'd be inclined to think it would
predispose her wanting, at least, to try what daddy was using and feeling
soooo good from.
And finally, the scene where he says he's able to wash dishes while higher
than a satellite as proof pot doesn't hinder your daily activities, reminded
me of the times I washed my clothes while high at a laundromat and found I'd
forgotten to add the detergent! LOL!

That'd definitely remind him of his real daddy who used him like a sex doll
