And, um, what were you looking for when you ran across this, Ricky?
I'm thinking it might make a nice candle stand on Witches Way. :-)

Ah Ha! You have truly caught me wandering the 'weird' section of e-bay
John...;)
There are...interesting...things to be found there. I bought a stuffed
horse (well, head and shoulders) last week. A Victorian thoroughbred
racehorse that weighs a tonne! It was Hell trying to attach it to the
wall, and for the thing not to bring down the house!
I won't mention the stuffed lion I acquired a few weeks ago!
My wife....tolerates..me ;)

I think I'll be headed there myself shortly. :-)

I'm sure the place is full of all kinds of insights.

It was the shoulders that probably brought most of the weight. You could
have taken care of that problem with the device in your back yard (and
gotten in a little practice) but then you'd be stuck with the common, boring
mere horse's head on the wall. No, no, the shoulders add flare and
originality. :-)
I won't mention the stuffed lion I acquired a few weeks ago!
I'd be interested in seeing pictures of that rarest of all beasts, the Great
American Northwest Mockingdoc's head on your wall.
My wife....tolerates..me ;)
Yes, sir, that's the best kind of wife to have, for sure. :-)

Interesting!...Oddly enough, when I found the skull for sale, my mind
wandered to it's original owner, and to the pleasure I could find if it
was, in fact, the picked skull of that 'Mockindoc'. ;)
Oh, the racehorse has a bridle and bit in place. God but it looks
alive. It's fairly secure now, thanks to a series of expanding bolts
and a back plate.
Odd. Visitors (I don't have many) seem to look for a moment in horror,
then carry on talking about mundane matters. I suppose it's called
'tact'...;)
Mind, they often shy away from the stuffed crocodile I brought with me
from France!
Well, it's a lot nicer than a set of plaster geese flying up the wall,
or the usual trinkets one finds in a house...;)

Into a few stuffed animals eh?
Must have a bit of space to hang that around.
Don't see that much, over here of that sort of thing, but used to as a
kid in Africa!
Umbrella stands and all.

Sadly, I sold my collection earlier this year when I left France.
Transport was one problem...But space was another. UK houses are a lot
smaller than those in France.
The 'fever' has returned though, and we are becoming crowded with my
'pets'...;) E bay had a stuffed kangaroo last week. I missed
it....which may be as well considering the available space.
The horse 'commands' the sitting room!

Probably a medical or scientific supply place of some sort. I think most
classrooms or labs that teach biology/physiology have a human skeleton in
them. (My HS and college biology classes did, but my son's HS bio class
didn't).

Nah, nobody wanted to hang around with someone who had a skeleton in his
closet. ;-)
(My HS biology teacher did actually keep it in his little broom closet)

I can't recall a Biology or Science class that *didn't* have a skeleton in the room.
