Within a three day span, conceivably. However, examination of
http://aviation-safety.net indicates that the average over the last 10 years
has been 41 accidents and 769 fatalities a year. Until last week 2005 had
seen 32 accidents and 253 fatalities - now we've had another two putting
that up to 43 and 644 for the year - still below average.

That sort of thing happens all the time and probably woudln't have made the

Dear Dr. Turi,
A few weeks have gone by since I received your short note below. In your
short note you said:
"Souls who take my self assurance and honesty for an oversized ego suffer a
form of inferiority
complex." You also said: Read NOW!
http://www.drturi.com/commandments.html
Admittedly, I was puzzeled and pondered these last few weeks about your
response.
I thought that possibly I offended you by saying: "harmonize with the
universe" when in hindsight with your
knowledge of the stars, the universe, you see yourself as harmonizing; and
that your humanness is
a natural response to a connection to a close friend. The knowledge you have
and the openness
in your sharing it has not compelled me to see you with an oversized ego;
rather it has opened my
eyes to investigate.
The work of others has also helped me to see things differently. In the
past I
had inferiority complex issues due to physical treatment from family, the
programming of organized
religion, the insanity of orthodox medicine, and the insanity of republican
versus democrat. At that
time I believed only one thing, religion should build and not destroy. It
wasn't until I got much
older that I began to search to begin my walk out of the middle of the pond
of shitze. I do not
want to go back to where I was, and so today I find my connection is with
humanity, with nature,
and the cosmos, the universe.
I have taken no courses in astrology, but have read enough to know
that the churches have kept the power of the universe from the people by
calling it sinful and have
continued to add toxicity to human thought. In the family I was raised in,
I am a lone wolf -- not a
sheep or lamb; and I have been ostracized from my family years ago because
of my investigation.
I've learned that sheep inflict more injury than a wolf! You see, I am the
captain of my own ship,
and I am not afraid to utilize others to keep my direction in line with the
power of the universe. I
have met you in person in Santa Clara, and have read your books, as well as
have had you do
lifetime readings on my two children.
I would have done more, but with college expenses and a
mortgage we have tightened up a bit.
Take care Dr. Turi, Josie

Subject: In Deepest Graditude & I Thank-You!
Hello Dr. Turi,
I came across your website over two years ago. I found your work impressive
and ordered a Life Reading. At the time I recieved my taped Life Reading,
my life was in total chaos. I had recently lost my home to fire with little
insurance coverage. The home was a total loss. The insurance covered
taking the structure down and carting it away to the dump. We had lost
everything. After that, I was pink slipped from my job due to down-sizing
and restructuring. Due to the circumstances, I granted my X-Husband Custody
of our young Son's. I gave up the apartment and rented a room. Life had
always been a struggle but this time, it felt like there was no direction,
no meaning and no reason to continue on.
I sat down and listened to my taped Life Reading. The details were
remarkablely factual, right down to the conditions of my childhood. As the
Reading progressed, I could see the patterns that you were pointing out and
the reasons for certain events. It was the first time that I actually sat
down and put my life together. Mentally, you walked me through the patterns
that were life lessons. Within those lessons, was a path and you were
pointing it out to me. It was the spark I needed to continue on.
After that, I enrolled as one of your Students. I have used that knowledge
to continue on the Path. It has brought many more lessons and events and a
break-through. A Transformation! The spark of light that was lite upon the
Life Reading has turned into serving the Light. My Life is now one that
helps others. Due to my dual nature, many do not realize that I am part of
their healing, the results are all that matters.
Find the Light.
Promote the Light.
Establish the Light.
Keep the Light.
I "Use the Light to Heal." In deepest Graditude and I Thank You from my
Heart!
In the Light,

PS- Love your decision to remove yourself from the negative doomsday
stuff-all these scenarios dwell on the lower astral planes and spread fear
through humanity and you can see how the spiritually naive and misguided can
pick up these scenarios and if you notice they are all pretty similar. The
less innocent use them to spead fear and profit by it . My very good friend

hearing you on with Rense every month. Rearranging you third house, are we
going to hear more of you on the air waves in the future? The first time I

Yes indeed, quite a 'coincidence', if you look at the very recent
past, not just at the last three days.

Unfortunately, your self-imposed 3-day limit forces you to omit
the only plane incident vaguely alluded to by Nostradamus. As I
am not sure if this is a 'postdiction', as the original author
did use a quatrain pointing to another event, but a quatrain
which nevertheless did contain a vague reference to one of these
air mishaps, the best I can do here is to repeat one of the posts
referring to that plane who, having left the shores of the
Adriatic, managed to make an emergency 'landing' in the sea...

Egypt trembles Mahometan increase
II.86 line 3 is the closest I could find to a possible prediction of
the 23 July 2005 triple bombing in Cairo, after my usual broad-spectrum
analysis including saintly feastdays, astrological allusions, and
various geographical permutations. There is no apparent chronological
hinting; but the "trembling" verb is the same as the final line of
II.68 (note inversion of the quatrain enumeration) mentioning London,
which I attributed to the 7 July transit bombings. Certainly the
Mahometan comment could apply to the terrorist attack on the Sharm
el-Sheikh resort, whose nickname "City of Peace" has become ironic,
with a Pakistani cell of al Qaeda implicated...
*
A very interesting observation, save for the so-called 'triple
bombing in Cairo', which probably should read 'in Egypt'. Let's
have both quatrains in their original (1555) form, then:
*
--------------- C E N T V R I E___S E C O N D E. -------------
----------------------- (édition de 1555) --------------------
*
---- 68 - De l'Aquilon les effors seront grands: -------------
--------- Sus l'Ocean sera la porte ouuerte, -----------------
--------- Le regne en l'isle sera reintegrand: ---------------
--------- Tremblera Londres par voile descouuerte. -----------
*
---- 86 - Naufraige a classe pres d'onde Hadriatique: --------
--------- La terre esmeuë sus l'air en terre mis: ------------
--------- Egypte tremble augment Mahommetique: ---------------
--------- L'Herault soy rendre à crier est commis. -----------
*
Yes, the numbers are inverted, they both speak of a land which
trembles, London in the first case, Egypt in the second.
Chronologically, the order of the two quatrains matches the order
in which the so-called islamic bombings occurred in both places
during the same month of the same year.
*
As you pointed out, line 1 of II-86 does not seem to have been
explained yet, if indeed these two verses refer to 2005 events.
*
Let's keep these two quatrains in mind as the year progresses, to
see if more events will 'fit' either or both. Thanks for a rare
on-topic post, which might turn out to have been one of the best
so far this year.
*
Seems that you were right, after all. Line 1 of II-86 appears to
have happened earlier today. A French-built ATR-72 of Tuninter,
the charter arm of TunisAir, took off at 14:32 (12:32 UT) from
the Italian city of Bari, on the Adriatic, for Djerba, Tunisia.
But the plane had to make an emergency 'landing' 12 miles off the
Sicilian coast, at about 15:40 (13:40 UT). This unintended course
of action transformed a civilian plane into a boat, broken in
three pieces, two of which sank -- just like a ship -- leaving at
least 13 of its 39 occupants dead.
*
Have a nice day, folks!

Perhaps you would also note that some years there seems to be a string
of accidents, as compared to other years that seem less deadly.
I once heard an aircraft engineer say if 20 747's went down in one day
it would hardly move the percentage of crash stats.

I think THAT would, you know. 20 747s is potentially 10,000 people.. The
worst year for aircrashes in the last 20 or so is 1996, I believe. Getting
on for 2,000 people karked it then.

BTW - did I mention...
A s t r o A l e r t
Sun-Earth Alert
MULTIPLE MAJOR SOLAR FLARES FROM A LARGE SPOT COMPLEX
The sun has become much more active over the last week. Two
sunspot
groups are currently visible to the unaided (but protected) eye. The
largest
is sunspot complex 10375, now beginning to approach the northwestern
solar
limb and by far the most active sunspot region presently visible.
Region
10380 was confirmed as "barely visible" to the unaided eye a few days
ago by
a veteran amateur solar observer, John McConnell.
Region 10375 has spawned multiple major solar flares, including
two
large X-class solar flares. It remains very volatile and will likely
continue
to produce additional major flares as it approaches the western solar
limb
over the next 3 to 4 days.
Thus far, it does not appear as though any of the energetic solar
flares
originating from Region 10375 have produced Earthward-directed coronal
mass
ejections (CMEs). Most of the coronal mass ejection activity associated
with
this region has been well to the north and west of the Earth. Although
there
is a chance the Earth may still intersect one of these disturbances,
the
chances of an intersecting CME producing strong enhancements in
geomagnetic
and auroral activity ("northern lights") are relatively low. The last
X-class
solar flare occurred at 8:02 pm EDT on 10 June (00:02 UTC on 11 June).
Unfortunately, the SOHO spacecraft which is used extensively for
determining
whether coronal mass ejections are directed Earthward, is preparing for
station-keeping maneuvers. As a result, the doors to the cameras (the
LASCO
suite of instruments) were closed several hours prior to this latest
major
solar flare eruption. So there is some uncertainty regarding the
trajectory
of any coronal mass ejections that were associated with this event.
Nevertheless, if the history of this spot complex and its coronal mass
ejections are any indication, the trajectory of the CME associated with
this
latest X-class solar flare is most likely directed northwest and away
from
the Earth and probably will not have a significant influence on the
Earth.
Region 10380 (currently less than half the size of Region 10375)
is
nearing the central solar meridian and is gradually growing. It
contains some
properties that make it a candidate for possible energetic major flare
activity as well and is being monitored closely. Any significant
activity
from this region over the next several days would most likely be
associated
with an Earthward-directed coronal mass ejection.
About 10 hours before the SOHO LASCO doors were closed, an
interesting
coronal mass ejection was observed. At about 2:06 am EDT (06:06 UTC) on
10
June, the LASCO instruments imaged a full halo coronal mass ejection.
Full
halo coronal mass ejections are caused by mass that is either ejected
nearly
directly toward the Earth or directly away from the Earth (from a
location on
the far side of the Sun). Given that very little eruptive activity was
observed by a fleet of instruments (both ground-based and space-based),
SOHO
scientist Gareth Lawrence concluded that the coronal mass ejection was
in all
probability a far-sided event and hence probably was not directed
toward the
Earth. Interestingly, it is presumed that this full halo coronal mass
ejection was produced by old active sunspot complex 10365, which
produced
multiple large X-class solar flares and was responsible for a large
geomagnetic and auroral storm (although the storm pittered out just
before
North America entered darkness, observers in Europe did observe auroral
activity). This suggests the old active spot complex, now transiting
the
opposite side of the Sun, may still have some life left in it. It will
be
interesting to see what form this spot complex takes when it returns to
the
eastern limb of the Sun and back into visibility around a week from
now.
Additional information, including images of these large sunspot
groups,
may be found at: http://www.spacew.com/astroalert.html

Yes! That is high. I don't care who claims to have predicted as much as
I wonder what the heck is going on.
And so I have a question!
Anything in the upper atmosphere that could cause a disturbance in the
instruments or electrical system?
And we only hear about major airlines that crash. A day or so ago a
medical helicopter from Shands Jacksonville crashed 2 blocks from the
hospital. All survived but it makes me wonder how many other crashes
were there on local levels? It seems like Florida has had quite a few
lately.
And then there is that strange lightning phenomena. :-O

All reports support a pressurisation failure - the aircraft had a history of
aircon/pressurisation problems too.

Well, GA (general aviation) is famously rather more accident prone than
commercial. At least a couple of incidents a month in the UK alone. A
helicopter went down between Estonia and Swden last week too, I doubt it
made the news in the US..
It seems like Florida has had quite a few
lately.

Not really. Everything is pretty heavily shielded, and the body of the
plane acts like a faraday cage. The avionics has gotten really good in the
last twenty years, you can program the flight director to fly the entire
route, from pushback at the terminal to rollout on landing at the other
end. GPS, accurate to three feet X. Y. Z. Since the stripe down the middle
of the runway is four feet wide, this seems to be 'close enough'. Aircraft
wear out. Stuff breaks in service despite the best efforts of mechanics to
find it first and replace it. There is a definite Risk in flying, it's an
unnatural act for humans. There will always be Risk. Don't like that? Take
the train.

'Bizarre' lightning strike to be studied
Art Thomason
The Arizona Republic
Aug. 11, 2005 12:00 AM
A top National Weather Service expert in Phoenix will investigate a
powerful lightning strike that "sounded like dynamite exploding,"
damaging
13 homes in central Mesa on Tuesday afternoon.
"This is beyond the norm," meteorologist David Runyan said. "It's
bizarre.
It intrigues us. We will seek some means to understand it a little
more."
The lightning bolt drawing all the attention caused extensive damage to
a
home in the 2000 block of East Seventh Avenue, near Broadway and Gilbert
roads, as its charge sped to other structures through underground wiring
and wet soil.
Mesa firefighters, who have seen the aftermath of other lightning
strikes
over the years, said they have never witnessed anything like the effects
of the Seventh Avenue strike. They believe the strike, recorded at 4:45
p.m., first hit the home, owned by Al Ogawa and Richard McTevia, and
spread its powerful charge underground.
The force's intense heat exploded underground wires, including
television
cable, near the home, erupted through the soil and spewed dirt and
debris
like volcanic ash against homes, trees and parked vehicles. Areas around
brass doorknobs and locks were scorched.
Neither Ogawa nor McTevia were home at the time, and no injuries were
reported in the neighborhood.
"We spent two years fixing this house up. The house means a lot to us,
but
it can all be fixed," McTevia said.
Their cat, Abigail, was under a bed and survived, he added.
"I took her to the vet's office about a half-mile away, and people there
said they heard the lightning strike. They said it sounded like dynamite
exploding," McTevia said.
On Wednesday, Runyan, of the Weather Service, said he would visit the
site
after Randall Cerveny, an assistant professor of meteorology at Arizona
State University, indicated it could have been hit by a positive strike,
which is extremely rare and powerful.
Scientists say positive strikes deliver much more voltage than the
negative bolts that occur 90 to 95 percent of the time in storms across
the country.
Positive strikes also tend to spread their potent charge over a larger
area.
"They tend to be much more powerful," Cerveny said. "We don't know much
about them because they are so rare."
How far the strike spreads depends on such factors as how much
underground
wiring is in the area and if the ground is wet.
"The strike follows the path of least resistance, such as wiring,"
Cerveny
said.
But Ron Holle, a meteorologist who studies lightning for Global
Atmospherics Inc. in Tucson, isn't convinced yet that the strike was
positive.
"It could have been a lightning flash with multiple return strokes," he
said. "Between the strokes, there is a continuing current, and it
doesn't
stop. We have no idea why it happens."
One thing is sure, the scientist agreed. Arizona's recent monsoon storms
have produced far more lightning strikes than normal.
