A speaker on talk radio suggested mandatory time in the military for
these illegals to be granted legal status. Many of my relatives have done
time serving this nation in the Military!

country. Most will say this.

for certain low-paying jobs, rather than have a blanket amnesty program. I say

That is so f*cking typical...I have been through this song and dance
so many times, and if they offer anything it is just part time, no
more than 30 hours.
There are 2 types that can make it in the NE: 1)skilled professionals
like doctors, lawyers, accountants, real estate types, and 2) skilled
tradesmen to serve the stupid ***** rich f*ckos when their heating
system breaks down, they can't fix their cars by themselves, or they
want to build a million dollar home. Most of them come from NYC,
wanting a summer home, a place to store their yatchs on the CT
shoreline, or are retired and too lazy to go to Florida.
I am VERY THANKFUL for my 40 hour overnight stocking and recieving job
at Wal Mart.

More than likely they only want to hire people that they know will accept less

2 things
First, the business knows that they can make an offer, and the applicant will
either work or walk. (Most people w/ college degrees aren't so stupid as to
bother filling out an application and go to an interview expecting more than
minimum wage as a checkout clerk or making subs).
Second, these kids have long since stopped putting down anything about having
college degrees because they're convinced it's preventing them from getting the
minimum wage jobs.
BTW - I'm sure you're aware that college graduates who still can't find
employment are not included in the unemployment stats. People who don't file
for unemployment (read: already had a job they've been laid off from) aren't
counted.
