U.S. soldiers killed as Iraqi attacks surge
Concerns increasing that insurgents might again be refocusing strikes
on Americans.
BAGHDAD, Iraq -- A car bomb exploded Tuesday next to a U.S. Army convoy
in Baghdad, killing three soldiers. A half-hour later, another U.S.
soldier, sitting in the back of a Bradley fighting vehicle at an
observation post, was killed in a drive-by shooting.
Their deaths pushed the number of U.S. troops killed in three days to
14, part of a surge in attacks that also have killed about 60 Iraqis.
Eighteen U.S. troops have been killed in Iraq during the past week,
raising concerns that insurgents might again be focusing their sights
on U.S. forces.
More than 620 people, including 58 U.S. troops, have been killed since
April 28, when insurgents launched a bloody campaign after Prime
Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari announced his new Shiite-dominated
government. The AP count is based on reports from police, hospital and
military officials.
During the same period, at least 89 car bombs have killed least 355
people, according to the AP count. An additional five suicide bombings
by individuals wearing explosives have killed at least 107 people.
Today, about 1,000 U.S. Marines, sailors and soldiers encircled the
Euphrates River city of Haditha in the troubled Anbar province, killing
at least three insurgents after launching the second major operation in
this vast western region in less than a month, an official said.
Two Marines also were wounded and evacuated, Marine Capt. Christopher
Toland said.
Helicopters swept down near palm tree groves, dropping off Marines who
blocked off one side of Haditha, while other troops on foot and in
armored vehicles established checkpoints and began moving toward the
center of this city, 140 miles northwest of Baghdad. U.S. warplanes
circled overhead.
The assault, called Operation New Market, focused on this city of about
90,000 people. Earlier this month insurgents launched a multistage
attack from a Haditha hospital, killing four U.S. troops.
On Tuesday, Sunni and Shiite clerics and politicians intensified
efforts to find a way out of the crisis that threatens a civil war.
Senior officials representing Iraq's two leading Sunni Muslim
organizations met with Interior Minister Bayan Jabr. The Sunni
officials recently demanded Jabr's resignation, holding his office
responsible for the killings of Sunni clerics and others.
Abdul-Aziz al-Hakim, a prominent Shiite politician, said there would be
no civil war. "The awareness of the Iraqi people and the links between
them will prevent such a war, God willing."
Al-Hakim, who leads the Supreme Council for the Islamic Revolution in
Iraq and the governing United Iraqi Alliance, said insurgents had been
trying to start a civil war between the Shiite majority and the Sunni
minority since Saddam Hussein's ouster.

A study on sales tactics shows that people will make an emtional decision
and then justify it it with logic after the fact.
This is used by hard sell sales people to manipulate people into purchases.
If you dont know you are being screwed, it seems like the salesman is on
your side.
Once you know you are being screwed, and you realise the tactics used to get
you to make you think they are "helping" you, you can see it for what it is.

anger that will follow if the persist.
EVE was played by the master sales person.
I even had one sales boss tell me I was an actor, so I didnt I lie, I just
acted like a TV commercial.

I think the figure is about 100,000.

In two years, it would take about 140 deaths a day to reach that
number. How many days have you heard 140 people died in one day? Have

Not exactly. Terrorists were not an issue in the Iraqi elections.

Yes, they most certainly were. The terrorists put out warnings to the
Iraqi people in an attempt to keep the voter turnout low. Everyone was
expecting large scale terrorist attacks on the voting locations, but
the Iraqi people turned out in droves -- which effectively told the
terrorists they did not have popular support of the Iraqi people.

Most Iraqis who went to the polls were voting for the departure of
Americans.

I'm sure that's true. Most Americans want that too. And it will happen
once the terrorists are defeated.

They mostly didn't even know the name of the candidates, let alone what they

But they turned out in the face of threats from the terrorists. I
thought it was ironic that Newsweek had its cover all ready to go for
the Monday release after the Sunday election. Newsweek was so expecting
a low voter turnout and high level of terrorist activity that their
cover showed a terrorist all decked out in his terrorist garb ...
Newsweek had expected the terrorists to prevail. How wrong they were.

But they thought electing an Iraqi government will mean that the
Americans can get the hell out of their country.

It seems like you think we want to stay there. Must be another one of

Nobody mentioned any terrorists as an election issue. It had nothing to do
with it and Iraqis are smart enough to know they can't just "vote" for
terrorists to take a hike or do anything else for that matter. However, they
did think that the self proclaimed champion of world democracy would take
notice of their collective desire to leave their country. That's why they
turned up to vote in large numbers so the message be loud and clear.
Unfortunately, they were sadly mistaken. The US policies are essentially
anti-democratic.

Most Iraqis who went to the polls were voting for the departure of
Americans.

I'm sure that's true. Most Americans want that too. And it will happen
once the terrorists are defeated.

Terrorists will never be defeated as long as the Americans are there. They
are the cause, and not the remedy, of terrorist activity in Iraq. Which by
the way is not as active as you may think. There are in all perhaps less
than a few hundred terrorists in Iraq. Probably less. Most of the violence
in Iraq today is carried out by pockets of resistance who are forming
spontaneously by ordinary Iraqis who until the American invasion were
holding regular jobs trying to make the two ends meet. But now, after having
their country invaded, their family members killed, and seeing no end to
this occupation, they are taking up arms.

They mostly didn't even know the name of the candidates, let alone what
they
stand for.

I am sure you know more about Newsweek than I do. It's your typical
corporate-run spin machine after all.

But they thought electing an Iraqi government will mean that the
Americans can get the hell out of their country.

It seems like you think we want to stay there. Must be another one of

It's not an assumption. Americans want to stay there because Iraq is
strategically well positioned and is sitting on billions of barrels of oil.
Why do you assume they want to leave?

Who out there can give a good estimate on the number of humans
killed as a direct result of the USA invasion and occupation of Iraq?

Who out there can give an estimate of the number of human beings Saddam would've tortured and
murdered if the Europeans had their way?

In Babylon's day, they did the will of God in punishing the nations. But
they crossed the line and so were themselves punished for not showing mercy.
Kind of like Abu Ghraib tormenting people.
The prophesy this fulfilled is in the 5th Trumpet, with the men which do not
have the seal of God being tormented for 5 months.
Operation Desert Scorpion (the authority and power of the US army) was to
round up suspects and take them to Abu Ghraib for questioning.

So even the evil doers have a part to play, but do remember Babylon was
cursed because of it, to be a desolation and never be rebuilt. The spiritual
Babylon Super Power of today, that is her daughter is found in USA, and it's
living up to the same comparison.
Considering the prophecy says their leader is the destroyer, which is now
seen as the beast when you join the dots.

All people which broke the fallow ground of ignorance in their day were
rejected, some even murdered, others became social outcasts. For this very
reason these days, some stay hidden so that they do not commit professional
suicide from hard assed colleagues.
The truth shall set you free. The most religious often are the most willing
to do evil in God's name.
Ignorance must die it's natural death by understanding. It cannot be given,
it must be built layer upon layer.

see the practical lessons.
GW Bush is fulfilling bible prophecy. That is a fact. Get a clue? ha Try
using your brain and seeing. You have to build it, not look at the facade of
the building and say I can do that. Mankind cannot make life, they can only
manipulate it.
There are many signs which would seem delusional if you dont look at all of
them and then weigh it all up. An open mind is mandatory.
It's a ***** being in the middle. With religoin on one side, blind and
ignorant and self righteous and judgemental, and with science on the other
side ridiculing anything which seems to be from the other side. The truth is
found in part in all things. To think one has it, in the extremes is
ignorant and even arrogant. But they do sell a lot of rope for lynching in
some places.

our consciences, we know that love works.

ignorant and that the bible must be seen in context and not replace God as
an idol in God's name.

The Bible tells us that this so, so why do you act as if you've got
some new info?

I have NEW PROOF which backs it. That is the point which so many people so
casually dismiss.
It is embeded in the english language. The language which rules the world
today with the most powerful nation, the offspting of British Empire.
It amazes me that something which backs what you believe is ignored, when it
could win over the intellectual man which geniunely seeks truth.
I have posted the links. If you dont want to read them, then why bother
talking to me at all?
This is the foolishness which is supposed to be on my side... and yet is
about as on my side as the pharisees were to Jesus.
Do you wonder why so many think Christians are fools? I do not wonder any
more, I have seen to many so called brother act like murderous mobs.
If you do not look and seek to understand you are not qualified to comment.
Truly... if yo dont look at the whole, you cannot see how it backs itself
up... to reject is a choice, and its your free will to do so... but do not
imply you are too smart to even consider it...
Mensa geniuses look at this stuff and marvel and go WOW! so it might be
beyond you... I Dont think it is beyond most, it just takes longer for some.
The main point is shows is this is not an accident. It show Gods design and
proves independantly of the bible that he is real etc... etc...
IF you want to attack me, just go and re-read Jesus words and get his
attitude of love. I am not the enemy, I Am a servant of God. If you attack
me, it is showign a total lack of understanding. Best bite your tongue than
prove yourself to be foolish..
I hope you have eyes to see, many dont... its a choice.
I would not have seen these things if I stuck to religious ideas where I
already thought I had it.
IF you dont understand it, then you dont have it.
See this page first
http://beast666.faithweb.com/Iraq2003.htm
and the other links were...
http://watchman888.land.ru/4in1/5thTrump1-4.jpg
and how it was foreknown for me to do this work, even as a prophet,
frustrated as the old ones were too..
http://watchman888.land.ru/html/BearingWitness.htm
and the current prophecies done by the beast...
http://watchman888.land.ru/html/gwtable.htm
So read it all before you even consider a reply. PLease for you own sake.
Else you will not realise how silly you make yourself appear until you are
totally embarassed.
ON the other hand, if you are not interested, then be quiet.
