Using Bible-Codes program I found exactly 7 codes for "Jesus-Christ",
searching the whole Bible. One of the encoding is crossed with the
name of Jerusalem, giving a latin-cross graphic effect on the screen
!
This effect is perfectyl symmetrical. It says that Jesus-Christ was
crucified at Jerusalem. I was tremendously surprised when this
appeared on the screeen, the effect is awful. If anybody is
interested

Does it work for any text, for example an issue of Hustler for example?
Or how about a book on black magic?

I am repeating other people's knowledge.
For my own taste - if I have to find "hidden knowledge" the entrails of a
chicken, the tea leaves in the cup, or using astrology with a random generator
for the date of birth would do just as well. But each to their own.
You require a significant sized document - I doubt the examples you gave have
enough print to make this worth while. Apparently the data disk for Windows
has been used with as much success or failure as some of these programs.
The experts (and I doubt this is an expert) would calculate out the
probability of getting a sequence and predict that on random chance, you would
get ... oh 6 -10 repetitions of a word. If you got 60-70 repetitions, that is
well outside probability - they get all excited.
I can remember the same thing before computers where they did this with
numbers - and the number 7 is the "seal of G_d."
People studied it for years. Never heard any wonderful insights from this
study.
Doubt I will hear anything from "bible codes" either.
If there is anything there, it would have to be proved using normal theology
anyway and that is what we would hear.
My own ideas? People want assurance of things beyond their grasp. Come to
think of it, so do I. I want to know the outcomes to make "the best choice"
and someone to confirm I am not making an idiot of myself.
But we look into "getting answers" from "outside" and this is the latest high
tech gimmick. A push of the button - and an instant prediction.

That's nice. But you CAN'T use an English program
and English translation to study the Bible,
EVEN with such a ridiculous program as The Bible Code junk.

But try and explain that to Claude, who thinks Nostie gave him a

The you are an idiot:

You might like to learn some statistics:

using the same technique on Drosnin's new book, researchers found.

FRAUD AND SNAKE-OIL HOAX."
