The "War on Terror" is a phantom war!

If we really had a "war on terror", we would be coordinating
international investigations with the help of the United Nations and
its members. As discovered, these terrorist organizations would be
arrested and put out of action. One of the keys to this investigation
would be the money trail. Investigations into the money trail would
not be blocked as I pointed out in the Riggs Bank case. A real "war on
terror" would not require a war against nations as our government is
doing. Instead, they are using "terrorism" as an excuse to accomplish
the aggressive "wars" they have been planning for decades to further
American Imperial control over the globe.
Instead of the above, we have seen and continue to see mistakes like
the following. In spite of experts warning of the coming attacks,
September 11 was allowed to happen even though we could have stopped
it. It was seen as a convenient excuse to launch our Imperial wars.
Although all civilian aircraft were grounded after 9/11, some planes
were still allowed to carry the Bin Laden family off our shores
without questioning them. Soon after Hamid Karzie (spelling?) took
office in Afghanistan, the agreements for the Afghan oil pipeline were
signed. As our troops with the Northern Alliance closed in on Osama
Bin Laden and his group, an escape corridor was opened into Pakistan
for them and elements of the Pakistani Army to retreat. When we
attacked Iraq (without supporting intelligence to justify it), our
"coalition" forces rapidly secured oil fields and refineries while
they whizzed right by known nuclear sites. Without guards, Iraqi
children played in these open and dangerous nuclear sites, and some
were exposed to fatal radiation. If you don't see the inconsistencies
in these facts to a "war on terror", I'm afraid I cannot help you.
Ellen Mariani, who lost her husband on 9/11, appeared on Democracy Now
on Friday, May 21. She explained how she and other 9/11 spouses were
told by the government that they would get to the bottom of how this
attack happened. As time went on and nobody was being arrested for lax
duty on 9/11, Mrs. Mariani and others were encouraged to take drugs
while getting over this emotional period. She said, "I am of sound
mind, I don't need drugs." But she wants answers to 9/11. She has
waited for two and a half years, and still no arrests. So she has
filed suit against George W. Bush for answers. She chastised the 9/11
Commission for saying they were not going to play the "blame game" for
9/11. But she does not accept that. For her husband who died on 9/11,
she must try to get action.
As documented at Mrs. Mariani's web site, the media has let this story
drop from sight - liberal media, ha!
John Kerry and the Democratic Party cannot get away with ignoring the
anti-war movement. If they do, we will have four more years of GWB. On
the other hand, I am beginning to think that is exactly what they
want! As the failures and atrocities of these Imperial wars grow in
scandal, more of the public is beginning to realize we are making
massive mistakes in our (used to be) good name. This shift in public
opinion is indicated strongly in the growing support for Dennis
Kucinich who gained 16% of the vote in the Oregon Democratic primary,
his highest percentage yet!

Dear oh dear don't you understand the nature of dog whistling, There
is also this belief in the Hero, so a war in terror is a war on
shadows.
Now if you think about it, the terrorists are dissenters, who do not
want a homogenised form of existence, which is alien to them.
The other side does not want this bunch of whingers dictating to them.
Now the idea that a Job as big as ending terrorism cannot be left to
those others, who may get the credit for doing so.
You are dealing with control freaks who believe they have a divine
mission, and the other side who also believe they have a divine
mission.
Not enough room for so many divines.
