I was going on memory. And when you distracted from my actual point, I
started thinking "of course the Jewish homeland was occupied by several

Yes it was. And my point was that the land of Israel belonged to the
Jews before the Roman Empire ran them off. It was their homeland. And
even after that, some number of Jews have always maintained a presence
on that land. You're right about the effects of the Babylonian exile,
which should also help "bye" understand why there are so relatively few
Jews (after adding in all the other factors that have befallen them
throughout history). This one small group of people have historically
received SO much negative attention from the people of this world who

flaw in your thinking seems to be that people only criticize
Israel and never the Palestinians (or other Islamic militants).
Israel is clearly responsible for being one protagonist in
the conflict and as the most powerful member will always be held
to the highest accounting. While it might be interesting to
explore some of the reasons why some Arabs hate Jews so much,
I think it's even more interesting that the vast majority of
Muslims don't have any specific reasons to hate Jews and would
never support an armed conflict with Israel. The ones fighting
Israel right now appear to be fanatics, you know, crazies with
some funding and a weird religious agenda.

from the vote in the UN, the one that led to the recognition of the

Rubbish! It amazes me that you history revisionists can actually
believe the crap you write. Arabs, Jews, Christians and whatever else

The land that is now Israel (just prior to the takeover by the Roman
Empire) was a sovereign nation. There were no Christians or Muslims
then. The land that is now Israel was the sovereign Jewish homeland
until that nation was destroyed by the Roman Empire, and the people of
that nation who weren't killed were chased off that land.
The British did not "promise" the Jews any such thing during the
british mandate in palestine. What they did do was promise to abstain
from the vote in the UN, the one that led to the recognition of the
state of Israel. They also promised the Arabs that they'de side with
them...

As I said earlier, you are trying to change history by painting the
Palestinians black. The Palestinians as I also said always got on with
the Jews and vice-versa. But the Zionist movement appeared and
nationalism broke out. The Jews wanted to "own" the land where they had
all lived in peace for centuries.
The Palestinian Jews just wanted that one smaller portion of the
British Palestine Mandate. The Palestinian Arabs received their state
-- it was called Transjordan (now Jordan). Jordan controlled the West
Bank, and Egypt controlled Gaza. It would have been so easy for Jordan
and Egypt to give the Palestinians their own state, but they kept the
Palestinians in refugee status for almost 20 years before the 1967 war.
They bought off land from poor
farmers and in that way expanded until they owned approx. 7% (see that
7%) of the land. Then they decided that they wanted their own Jewish
state and that led to terrorism from Irgun and others against both the
Arabs and the British...the aim being to clear the Arabs, (and Brits),
out. In 1948 the UN had their meeting and their vote, the British
renaged on the Palestinians and the Jews got their state.
And, as I mentioned the Palestinians got their state -- it was called
Transjordan, actually larger than the land of Israel.
The land they
got, as I said before, they owned only 7% of but they still weren't
satisfied with that. They went on the rampage and took more killing
hundreds and sending hundreds of thousands fleeing to neighbouring
countries...mostly Jordan. Then they were attacked by their neighbours.
They were attacked by the neighbors immediately after the
implementation of the UN Partition Plan. And, as I've explained to you
before, there were hundreds of thousands of Jewish refugees from the
Arab lands -- and Israel took those Jewish refugees, while Jordan and
Egypt purposely kept the many Palestinian Arabs in refugee status. It
made for such a good propaganda ploy to keep those Palestinian Arabs in
refugee status instead of giving them their own state.
I'm stopping there. I don't expect a tunnel visioned ***** like you to
actually believe what I said, but for history's sake you and your type
have to be corrected lest some poor ***** actually believes your
warped version of history in the Mid-East!

More *****. The Amirate of Transjordan was formed in 1921 and was
the part of the British mandate in Palestine. In 1923 Britain
recognised Transjordan as a soverign state but the rest of Palestine
remained within the mandate. 1947 Transjordan was declared a kindom and
fully independant. Absolutely never established by the UN for any
Palestinian. Jordan became a soverign state which was on the other side
of the Jordan river from the remaining Palestinian mandate and had
absolutely nothing to do with it.
