Washington Post Admits: Left Doc Films Rule. lol. ;) |
Tony was right and the left is promoting America as evil and
Socialism is better for ya.
Well there ya go ;) Now one of the most leftist rags is admitting
the facts.
LOL.
"most documentaries that approach political issues do so from the
left."
And that, the Post notes, "has been true since the political upheaval
of the late 1960s." - Associated Press, source:

Liberal Documentarians Are the Reel Majority
Left-Leaning Films Get Box-Office Vote
By Tommy Nguyen
Washington Post Staff Writer
Thursday, July 22, 2004; Page A01
In terms of its success, Michael Moore's "Fahrenheit 9/11" is in
uncharted territory. By next week it will probably surpass $100
million in domestic box-office revenues, nearly five times as much as
the next-highest-grossing documentary feature -- Moore's own "Bowling
for Columbine."
"Since the political upheaval of the late 1960s, the liberal point of
view has predominated among documentaries -- at least those that get a
showing in theaters. From films about opposition to the Vietnam War
(1974's "Hearts and Minds," 1979's "The War at Home") to slain black
leftist or gay leaders (1971's "The Murder of Fred Hampton," 1984's
"The Times of Harvey Milk"); from films about the menace of Republican
administrations (1992's "Panama Deception," 2002's "The Trials of
Henry Kissinger") to the struggles of coal-mining and meatpacking
union workers (1976's "Harlan County U.S.A." and 1991's "American
Dream"), most documentaries that approach political issues do so from
the left. "

THE FACTS!? When in hell did you start to feign caring about facts...just
your own 'facts' that comfort your pinheaded nationalistic supremacism.
Kiss more Bush *****, fella, and as Bill O'Reilly, that neocon media moron

Wasn't there a study out a year or so ago that indicated that those who are more
educated or more intelligent tend to be Liberal, while the uneducated or lower
intelligence people tend to be Conservative? There was some discussion of that
here when that came out. If true, it certainly stands to reason that any
documentary, intended for the educated and/or intelligent, will be on the
"liberal" side, if for no more reason than the level at which it's targetted.

It's the difference between having common sense and being an overly educated egghead.

Christ, I'd rather have someone be 'over educated'
(if that's possible), than a fucking dimwit like you, waiting for some
mass bloodshed to salivate over (or so your little brain thinks, anyway).
Get that snake out of your pants and whack it off more vigorously, *****
head. It's the only thing you've got close to brains...

Wouldn't surprise me. Right wing talk show hosts keep up the rhetoric
against the best universities, and their professors. Too much
education they must say is bad for ya.

I believe , I could be wrong about that exact statement, but it
sounds like the wasted Berkeley study done by a handful of their
professors and students who came to a conclusion that Lenin, Stalin,
Mao, Hitler, Pol Pot, Mussolini and other leftists were all strict
right-wingers, in fact. The report caused quite a stir with the head
of the school spinning damage control, but the study finally made its
rightful place in the big round filling cabinet. And DM is also right
about Common Sense.
For example,
I hade a English teacher who was a genius on grammar, but she admits
she knew nothing of how to right a paper on foreign policy. In other
words, if you did not bash the rightwing in your paper you received a
lower grade. Yes, she was a genius, but she had no common sense.
Schools are supposed to be unbiased in America.
She had no common sense.
while the uneducated or lower
intelligence people tend to be Conservative?

No because all the right wingers are working in society, making it a
better place, and the rich lefty lazys' have nothing to do than raise
money from other lefties to finance propaganda picts, to force
right-winger buisenssmen to pay for more benifits to them for free.

Nope, wrong study. This one didn't mention them, it was a study on the
followers, rather than anything on the politicians/leaders.
