While he didn't come right out and say that joining the armed forces is
for poor people who can't afford to go to college without help, he kind of
implied it when he said "they" wanted him to make money and pay taxes.
OTHER people should join up and die for Bush, not him.
I also thought it was pretty rich that he was telling Nam vets that they
shouldn't be collecting any veteran's money if they don't support Bush's
war in Iraq. They earned it. I've yet to meet a Nam vet that isn't
all messed up in the head.
