What problems? Problems like running out of oil and having to come up with a
new and different fuel for all those 10 mpg Hummers? Problems like shipping all
our industrial jobs to the Third World because it increases the Corporate profit
margin here at home while poisoning the local population due to toxic waste
discharge? Problems like a diminished dividend for Dead Eye ***** and all his
cronies from Helliburton? Good Gawd man, the caviar might spoil, and the
champagne might lose its fizz. It's the End of the World! It's their oil, not
ours. All the while, the planet continues to warm up, driven by CO2 emissions
from all that industry, because it's cheaper to do it dirty than to clean up the
equipment. Like it or not, the world is a finite resource, and Nature has ways
of dealing with overpopulation and toxic contamination. None of them are
pleasant.
