Here's a great test:
As far back as last year I predicted that the Democrats
would make small gains in the U.S. House of
Representatives this year.
How small?
Definitely less than 20. Maybe as few as four. I'm going
to go out on the limb now and say...
15.
Mind you, I'd like nothing better than to see the Democrats
take 40 seats away from Bush. I would be very much like
to be wrong about the "small" gains.

I like to have a Democrat majority in Congress when there's a Republican
president, and a Republican majority in Congress when there's a Democrat
in the White House. That way, only the most critical legislation ever
gets passed, and no president is guaranteed of having Congress walk
lock-step with his/her agenda.
