I also want to speak tonight directly to Muslims throughout the world. We
respect your faith. It's practiced freely by many millions of Americans,
and by millions more in countries that America counts as friends. Its
teachings are good and peaceful, and those who commit evil in the name of
Allah blaspheme the name of Allah. (Applause.) The terrorists are
traitors to their own faith, trying, in effect, to hijack Islam itself.
The enemy of America is not our many Muslim friends; it is not our many
Arab friends. Our enemy is a radical network of terrorists, and every
government that supports them. (Applause.)
The terrorists practice a fringe form of Islamic extremism that has been
rejected by Muslim scholars and the vast majority of Muslim clerics -- a
fringe movement that perverts the peaceful teachings of Islam.
--George W. Bush, in an address to the U.S. Congress, September 20, 2001.

Gee, we both agree then that Bush says the truth. I thought you tried to
justify the terrorists. What happened? The Muslim scholars who virtually
said the same thing yesterday, this after the prez' own speech, changed
your mind?
Good.

Don't get the reason why I posted this, or are you just playing dumb,
smart *****?
Note that Bush says this is a "fringe movement." It is not the majority of
Muslims who are committing these atrocities.
I'm reminding neocon nut cases and assorted bigots here who contend that
the entire Muslim community is a threat, and should be eradicated, or that
a majority of Muslims favor terrorism against the USA, that their Fuehrer
is publicly not in goosestep with them.
Even your dimwitted leader three years ago knew that "many" Muslims were
peaceful and friendly people, and that only a small portion were
supporting terrorism.
Further, a Gallup Poll in 2002 refutes the other racist, supremist, insane
notion that a majority of Muslims support terrorism, and that only 15%, or
less than 2 out of 10, favor such violent acts as the Russian school
hostage incident.
And, your Bush Master said most Islamic clerics and leaders condemn Muslim
terrorism, and finally, he said that Islam is mostly a peaceful religion.
Even Dubya doesn't support, publicly at least, a broad attack on Islam for
what a "fringe movement" does violently against the West. We're not seeing
the great majority of Islamic followers wanting to support killing
children or killing anyone.
The "truth" we agree on is something that I've always agreed on, stupid,
that a small minority of Muslims are responsible. You and a number of
other bigots here haven't consistently made that fact clear. And when you
or they don't, it makes this pursuit of terrorists into a wholesale attack
on all Muslims for being "subhuman" or "animals."
I've heard you many times condemn Islam--defining no limits at all--and
promote hatred broadly against its followers and leaders.
So, if you love Bush so much, pay heed to his words of praise for
Islam...even though I don't believe him...you should, Bush licker and all
the lil' Bush lickers here. LOL...
