Yes it does go both ways, but as in all such cases the one who is in

the

majority is the one who starts it.

In the old south Whites held the upper hand and were of course the

majority,

then Blacks moved to the big cities and became the majority in large

sections

of inner cites where there basically "ethinically cleansed" the area

by

rioting, mugging, raping and beating whites in large numbers from the

1960's

thru the 1980's.

I know a large number of law enforcement officers, I grew up in and

still

frequent very dangerous areas of the inner city, and I can tell you

that there

are very few white areas that blacks can't walk thru at any time of

the day or

night in complete safety.

Yet I cannot name you one (nor can my friends in law enforcement)

black area

which is safe for whites at any time.

You made some good points, Tony--especially that majority does
tend to initiate racism. But you're still missing the big picture.
I've never seen a "white neighborhood" even close to as
poor as the projects in North Philly. I mean it was jaw-dropping
poverty and I got a good dose of it on a >daily basis.

Sounds nice, but it will never happen; as I point out above, the

majority

always comes down on the minority. This can be seen in any country in

the world

and throughout history.

It'll happen. I look to my own family as an example. There was a big
change in my family's approach to other races starting with my father.
His "buddy" in the Army (from the buddy system in the service) was
black. That relationship changed the way he looked at race, and he
brought his sons up to think the way he did. It'll change--will just
take time. Jews in the U.S. are a minority, but they seem to be doing
alright. Economy determines acceptance moreso than race, and as
opportunity increases for blacks in the states, whites will feel less
threatened and relations will improve. >Just going to take a lot of

Modern white society has been the least vicious in this regard; but

just watch

south, and only sees it from whites, then she must be dating black guys,
