Do you think they'd let anyone know? If they did then there'd be a shitload
of media attention. If they caught him and didn't let anyone know, then they
could keep him alive and torture the ***** out of him ( for information only
of course ) without any media scrutiny.

Don't be surprised if it happens. I'm not rabidly anti Bush, but I do have
some serious reservations about him, most notably the Gitmo situation. The
folks opposed to GW have consistently underestimated the guy. I would not be
surprised if (at a politically opportune moment) we find out that we knew
where UBL was all along, and were using that knowledge to bring down his
organization. Note that it would not really matter whether this was true or
not, because gains at the polling booth would outweigh the words of the
naysayers. Similarly, we might catch Saddam when the time is right. The Dems
are blasting Bush right now, but they might end up eating their words.
Repeat after me boys and girls, GW is NOT repeat NOT stupid. To think
otherwise is a huge political mistake for GW's opponents, because that way
lies the boneyard.
