Bah, it is because you have no clue and apparently really buy into

sense, and only the weasels make up that fable, like they did about
Afghanistan. We went there because of terrorism, and to Iraq because of
UN resolution. never was it about oil.

Or else, just answer to me the question in the other post I asked about
how they would even start to get even with oil and how. I mean really,
with numbers. The US doesn't get to pay less for the oil, they are not
part of the profits, all they do is pay, here.

now indeed it entails finding out about the WMDs, but also punishing him
for supporting terrorism by paying homicide bombers, for considering
Kuwait still as his own (by refusing to give them back their POWs or
their national archives after 1441 - all conditions to avoid the lifting
of the cease fire Kuwait was the first mistake he made and brought this
upon himself). Saddam breached the resolution half a dozen ways besides
his WMDs cat and mouse game, which would have not yielded any result
even given 6 more months, and HAD it he would have restarted the
programs right after.

There was no other reason that the breach of his obligations.
