Object: What's the price of gas in your part of the world??
Where I am ( Eastern Canuckistan ) we're payin' ~ 93.5¢ / Litre.... or
roughly $4.25 / gal.
It's gonna get worse, I suspect, before it gets better.

$4.25 per gallon! If those prices stick, I won't be taking my annual snowmobile pilgrimage to
Revelstoke, BC. Maybe we'll take in Yellowstone and Island Pond again.
Thanks to Bush, Yellowstone National Park remains open to snowmobiliers. He over rode Clinton and
the Sierra Club's environazi agenda. That alone is enough to vote Bushy come November. Woo Hoo!!
$2.03 gallon for regular.

About $1.00 a litre ($4.50 a gallon) subject to change about 10% a time, it
is not going to get better India and china will see to that.

gasoline is cheaper than water in North America.
a litre of gasoline in my part of the world is currently going for 90.5cents
a litre of water costs probably about 2.50

Where in north America??

a litre of gasoline in my part of the world is currently going for 90.5cents

a litre of water costs probably about 2.50

Here in San Diego, I can get 3 liters of bottled water for $1.
That's about 80% of a gallon, but a gallon of gas is about $2.40.

It's quite expensive in France too. I don't know how much exactly, as
it is recorded on a meter, and we receive the bill every 2 months.
I'd like to be able to tell you how many Euros a cubic meter of gas
costs..but I can't really.
It hasn't risen in price though...Not like petrol has.

That's what I meant ... was petrol.

A couple of bux a gallon in texas, and too damn many lives in the
middle east.

It mostly impacts the working poor. Most of the suv owners can afford
higher petrol prices.

Where I am, the "working poor" all drive pick-ups. They're hurting.

(who, fortunately, has the luxury of only needing to use the pick-up for hauling
stuff around ...)
