Greetings goons and loons, what da freak happened to this place?
Many ions ago it was a gathering place for various creatures of
at least semi-intelligence, now it seems to be a mudhole where
lower forms of life come to expire.

Hmmm, it had been coughing up blood for a long time. I think the
first real death blow came when
Doug Taylor left at the end of Y2K. His TWIP posting was great fun.
Then we started losing
all the people who actually studied Nosty--Peter, Jean, even Tony.
When sUSAn left,
that wasn't any fun either. =(
Et tu, Sloggy? Sloggy's personal attacks on people and his obviously
open-ended predictions that
contained enough numbers to claim any date as a hit made the place
unpleasant.
He played a big part in ruining the NG.
Right now, it's sort of overrun with spammer trolls who say nothing.
Not many
worth reading on here anymore. Maybe it'll pick up again in 2010 or
so.
