Object: When Paris no longer dreads an attack
Over the past few years, whenever a positive event occured
between France and the Islamic world, I wondered if it was not a
precursor to the assassination on (a future) December 26 of
French President Jacques Chirac.
*
The reason for this strange connection is to be found in one of
the decyphered quatrains speaking of this future event, III-95:
*
---------------- C E N T V R I E___T I E R C E. --------------
---------------------- (édition de 1555) ---------------------
*
---- 95 - La loy Moricque on verra defaillir: ----------------
--------- Apres vne autre beaucoup plus seductiue, -----------
--------- Boristhenes premier viendra faillir: ---------------
--------- Pardons & langue vne plus attractiue. --------------
*
Its decyphered version:
*
--------- « Quel vil Islam ! », dira la France, broyée -------
--------- par la vue de son Président Chirac tué peu ---------
--------- après Noël à Paris, le Vingt Six Décembre, ---------
--------- quand Paris ne redoute plus vne atacque. -----------
*
This last anagram features that connection:
*
--------- quand Paris ne redoute plus vne atacque. -----------
*
or, '...when Paris no longer dreads an attack.'
*
So, whenever a situation arizes which alleviates France's fear of
an Islamic attack, I remind myself of this text. What on earth is
happening these days to trigger this feeling? Two Frenchmen held
hostage in Irak for over four months have been freed on Monday by
a so-called Islamic Army. To join the celebrations, French
President Chirac -- already vacationing in Morocco -- is due to
return to greet in person the two men.
*
On top of this, December 26 is the date of the third ballot in
Ukraine's presidential elections. Would Mr. Chirac want to remain
in Paris for the occasion?
*
Which brings us to the decyphered III-95: '"What an evil Islam!"
shall say France, crushed at the sight of her President Chirac
killed shortly after Christmas in Paris, on December Twenty-Six,
when Paris no longer dreads an attack.'
*
After all, if the Islamic Army in Irak just released two
Frenchmen, after having been convinced that they were not spying
for the Americans, why would another Islamic Group want to murder
France's President? If logic prevailed in these matters, the
answer would be obvious: It doesn't make sense. Problem: the
group bent on assassinating Mr. Chirac is doing so in retaliation
for the killing, on December 26, 1994, of four Algerian hijackers
by a French swat team on the tarmac of the Marseille-Marignane
Airport.
*
This act of revenge is equally illogical: Mr. Chirac had nothing
to do with this, as he was then campaigning for the French
presidency, then occupied by Mr. Mitterrand, in anticipation of
the 1995 elections... which he won.
*
But then again, who said the world was logical?
