Nostradamus uses supreme wit in masking his quatrains. In several of his
prophecies Nostradamus addresses the sighting of a bearded star. When this
bearded star appears the earth goes through some difficult changes. Only
once does Nostradamus refer to a "Comet". In this one instance The comet is
running, or a courior, the actual spelling is (courra): this usage being
close to "messenger".
"Star" coupled in this Nostradamian usage of French could also be a
reference to a "Famous Personality".
Could the reference "bearded star", when not describing an asteroid burning
through the atmosphere, be a reference to a "Famous Personality" who is
known for wearing a "beard"? (A famous bearded man).

Demis Roussos?
That chap who was always in 60's British comedies, playing a bad tempered
doctor? What was his name?

Thanks! That's the fella. He will always be Sir Lancelot Spratt to me. I'm
sure Nosty would have been a fan.
