Object: Where will Dean go?
Hello all,
Been a few years since I was online predicting. I said I would return
in 2007, and so here I am. There are so many things happening in our
world, it is hard to grasp the great change coming for our planet. As
many of us move toward the light and others fall to darkness, there is
much hope for the new decade about to befall us. Let's see how bad I
am at predicting this hurricane, shall we.
News before it happens................................
Hurricane Dean has changed course once again after brushing the
Yucatan Peninsula and is now heading back into the Gulf of Mexico.
Most models show us that Dean is now heading across the gulf skipping
most of Texas and skirting the LA. coast. It is expected to make
landfall between Port Arthur and Lake Charles. It is moving at 26 mph
north by north-east and expected to bring heavy rainfall to Baton
Rouge and slowly dissipate over Meridian as it moves along towards the
atlantic states.
Batten Down them hatches.
Many in Pensacola have to batten down the hatches as the eighth named
hurricane comes ashore.

At the risk of sounding ambivalent, I'd remind you that every year the
hurricanes, tornadoes, storms, droughts, ice storms, blizzards, floods,
volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, lightning strikes, dust storms, hail
storms, and heat waves rake humanity somewhere.
What are we to make of this eons-old cycle of natural disasters, but to
tiringly sound the alarms, prepare for the worst (if possible), await the
outcome, and clean up or rebuild afterward?
Is there any more to be said? Humanity dies and is injured by natural
calamities each and every day, small or large, and the species drearily
drags on -- some blaming God, others blaming Mother Earth, while some
don't afix any blame at all.
And some...capitalize on others' miseries from these events and make
themselves a pile of money and/or imbue themselves with more, notoriety,
control and power over others.
And that aspect, fella, is truly the real sickening sorrow, the real
horrible calamity for us to endure.
