Tyrany works because the tyrant is more organized than the victim.
Tyrants seek to acquire and maintain the monopoly on physical coersion,
usually expressed as an organized military and/or police force. This is
why we have the 2nd Amendment, so that our Erected Reprehensibles in
Congrease won't get any serious ideas about Empire. Hopefully, they
remember that we started with the overthrow of the control of the 'Most
Powerful Nation on Earth'. Freedom is a sleeping Giant that tyrants
awaken at their peril.

Because the tyrant has good handlers that can turn out phrases most
people can't see beyond - like calling bills that will increase
