Why should we pray for The Coming and our salvation?
Put it in these terms: do you want to win the lottery?
I'm guessing the answer is "yes". So ask yourself this: how can you win
the lottery if you don't bet on it?
I am promoting this campaign to pray for the coming as a way to "bet" on
the future of mankind. If you don't place a bet you don't stand a
chance of winning, and so if we don't raise enough prayer we won't win
the ultimate prize.
Many critics and "trolls" on the net will raise their vile bile at
anything and I'm sure a good many have already insulted, slandered and
denied everything I am attempting to say. That is their "bet" on the
future - that there isn't one.
There is though a fundamental reason why I believe that the campaign for
the prayer and everything to follow is soundly reasoned, well as soundly
as it can be reasoned in this world. We know that prayer does heal, it
does cure, it can change the world.
Someone dying of disease can be cured by the power or prayer, they can
heal faster by its blessing. And this means that there is a substantial
and proven influence on the fabric of the universe by our own actions
and our own prayer.
This applies as much to the coming as to any other event. Prayer for
this event will make it all the more likely to occur. It won't be
miraculous like a blazing light in the sky, but it will happen, and that
means we can save the world by our efforts.
I invite everyone of good heart (trolls can slink back to their caves
now) to help me spread the word around the world, to gather the power of
prayer and donations to reach those not on the internet, to focus a
human effort in many arenas of activity, from prayer to investment and
beyond.
Our collective and individual actions will set in motion a movement
around the world to turn it away from greater troubles to come.
There will still be troubles. "Trolls" don't just inhabit the internet,
but in all our lives we come upon them, in our work in our communities,
especially in the corruption of politics they enjoy repression, they
find comfort in an unchanging world, they will try to stop us.
Help say a prayer for the coming and perhaps we can sweep the trolls
into history.
