That is the rumor that is now making
the rounds in political circles.
If true, it would be great news.

I'm not sure he'd take New York after having been in the Bush administration.
He'd have been able to beat her 4 years ago, but doubtful at this point. People
in NYC will likely go Democrat, and she's been very good about staying
informedm, and effective, on issues of interest to Upstaters.

Probably. You should know since that's your turf. Maybe Colin Powell
can have success in a different state, if he's interested in pursuing
a high profile job so soon after being Sec of State.

Her turf? Gimme a break Dee, she's in the boondocks surrounded by Deer and
Bear.
Yes NY is Liberal, but not as Liberal as Hillary (except for some wackos in NYC
and isolated throughout the state), Powell is also Liberal, and he also happens
to be black and actually a New Yorker, not a carpet bagger looking to pad their
resume to get to the White House.

Dream on you Ultra-Leftwing Liberal, polls have been taken that show Powell
trouncing Hillary by something like 65-35.
I hope that Powell decides to go for it and put and end to the madness of even
the thought of that woman being President.
