And create a third party?
We had our chance in 2000 with Pat Buchanan.
Unfortunately, ont about 1,000,000 of us had enough sense to vote for him.
Had Buchanan been elected, chances are good that 9-11 may not have happened, we
never would have gone to war with Iraq, and we would be shipping illegal's back
home.
You're probably right about all of the above. Had he not been aligned with the
Religious Right, he probably would have gotten a lot more votes.

Shows how much you know, most of the socalled Religious Right, were firmly in
the corner of President Bush.

Naturally, I meant that he may have gotten the more moderate Republican votes.
There are quite a few of them out there, you know, and they aren't exactly
enamored of the Religious Right.

No, Tony, you just proved you can't read and understand a thread. Again.
I notice you're very quiet about all those planes in Iraq that keep getting
hit by MANPADS at low altitude and surviving.. mentally papering over the
gaping cracks in your paranoid fantasies eh?

No, I didn't - you just can't seem to grasp what I'm saying. Not a big deal -
I was just basically agreeing with you and stating why I agreed.
