My 'guess' is that Wilma (The Hurricane) is about to self-destruct over the Gulf Of Mexico, as
it changes direction, and moves eastward - right before our own eyes !!!
If this is true, the western coastline of Florida 'still' needs to be prepared 'to be on
watch' for Tropical Storm like 'devastation' along the western coastal regions of The Florida
Peninsula.
These Are Just My Thoughts.

I can't believe everyone (in America) is not POSTing to this!!!
After all, its about the only VALID statement that's been posted about 'Wilma' since last
Thursday (regarding the Florida Coastline).

Tropical storms don't tend to result in "devastation", IMHO. Just a
good soaking and some power outages.
Besides, the conditions aren't favorable for Wilma to weaken that much.
If anything, it's likely to strengthen to a cat 3. Current reports
are that it is likely to be a cat 3 when it hits the west coast of
Florida, and make it to the east coast of Florida still as a hurricane.

Unlikely. Hurricanes need to be moving very slowly to strengthen,
and Wilma is moving far too fast.
