My theory regarding Vien as a major third hurricane this season
affecting the US after Katrina and Rita, proposed 25 September under
the title "Louisiana's Other Orleans; Katrina"
appears to have manifested as Wilma. My assumption "Vien" implied
Vince, the storm name used before Wilma, was incorrect: N. may avoid
acknowledging the storm naming system, as when referring to Katrina as
a King in X.95; when reverting to the saintly feastday method, Vien
does oddly fit - St. Paul Tong Buong assisted the Paris Foreign
Missions, for which in 1833 he was martyred by torture, humiliation and
beheading in VIEtNam, feastday 23 October. So specific comments about
Vien should be compared to the effects of Wilma...
Again, Dr Turi already had the 23 October date for a potential
hurricane, though not claiming to use the quatrains. Turi also
predicted a quake for mid-October: the immensely fatal 8 October
India-Kasmir-Pakistan quake occurred a week early, arriving a few hours
after Venus moved into Sagittarius. The most innocuous interpretation
of the first half of II.86 might concern the boat that capsized 2
October at Lake George, NY (killing 21 of about 50 aboard) as the ship
wrecked by a heavy wave: the Ethan Allen was said to have been too near
the wake of a larger vessel (not sure whether it's been identified);
the subsequent trembling of the earth would be the Kasmir quake, with
the earth stirred up over air set on land thereafter as Wilma.
Turi has given further dates in November for some vaguely described
events; these might be evaluated against the verses later.

I predict that with the third named tropical storm or hurricane to
follow Wilma, many weather forcasters will explain the Greek alphabet...
something about many Americans being so stupid as to think that C should
come after B in all alphabets.

Imagine using Usama (that's Usama, not Osama), abu Musab al-Zarqawi, and any other such

I know a joke when I see one.
I know that the Greek alphabet will be used next.
I know that if a storm called "Osama", "Usama", "So-damn-insane", or the
like, causing damage to USA would be funny as all hell. The damage
would not be funny, but the comic relief would be there.
Let's pretend that your name is George. Wouldn't you want tropical
storm George to become a big-***** storm?
I've already had my name retired. Hope you enjoyed my trip through the
area.

Most Americans don't even know who's on a one or five dollar bill.
So it wouldn't shock me that quite a few people scratch their heads

I am not American, and I only see American bills about once every year
or two, but am I correct that on the $1 is George Washington, and the $5
is Lincoln?
(I just took a peek on the web, and I think I'm correct (so if I'm not
an American, how can I be better at Americana than them?))

Individually, most Americans are perfectly nice people.
It's when you get large amounts of them together that bad things start
to happen. And when there are enough of them that they start deciding
that somebody should be in charge, the ***** really starts flying.

Being Canadian, I am exposed to a fair bit of American culture, due to
television.

I would seem that I managed to learn who is on the $1 and $5 bills.
I won't try to claim to be any sort of expert in Americana, but I would

I hate to burst your bubble, but American TV doesn't really display
American culture accurately. Nobody would watch TV if it was that
similar to reality - TV is for escaping from reality. (Except for
"Reality TV", which is evidently a method to assure viewers that, no,
they aren't the biggest losers on the planet ....)

Delta follows Gamma.
Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta...
I still predict that once Gamma comes along, the weather folks will be
explaining the Greek alphabet, on a daily basis.

On "my word"?
Go ask some Greek people.
Go search the net.
click on those links I added to my last post.
Ahem... no, Gamma is the last letter in the Greek alphbet. Omega is the
letter that comes after Beta. The Alpha-Omega only covers the first
1/7th (roughly) of existance. If you are Christian, you can ignore
about 6/7ths of the world, as you have been trained to do.
