With yesterday's murder by US soldiers of an Italian secret
service agent who had just participated in the rescue of an
Italian woman held hostage for a month in Iraq, it is time to
remind readers of the ultimate purpose of Nostradamus' prophecy,
namely to warn the good people of Paris of the worst military
mistake in history, that of the unintended destruction of the
most beautiful city in the world by the US, on Sunday, August 13,
2017, at 3:53 a.m.

At first, when the details describing this future event began to
appear bit by bit in the decyphered prose taken from Nostradamus'
poetry, I thought the text was referring to the past, as my first
text told me of the destruction by the US of a friendly city. In
1944, many French cities were bombed by Allied forces (I thought
of Caen at first), and thousands of French civilians were killed
in what is euphemistically called 'collateral damage'.

As the decyphering work progressed, the city of Paris was
mentioned. But why on Earth would the US destroy Paris? After a
few more weeks of decyphering, I found the answer to this obvious
question: the US did not intend to nuke Paris, but a 'snafu' was
responsible for this unintended result.

Later, I found that Nostradamus gives many examples of mistakes
causing death, or of people killed unintentionally by friends.
The most obvious was the accidental death of King Henry II in a
jousting match held on June 30, 1559. His best friend, Gabriel de
Lorges, Count of Montgomery, killed him.

With this in mind, it became clearer *why* Nostradamus was
interested in relatively unimportant events, but which all had
this in common: mistakes committed by friends causing death.

Which brings us to our recent past. In the so-called Gulf War
(the Oil War of 1991), the US was responsible for 136 deaths of
Allied soldiers. This is known in the trade as 'friendly fire'
(although there is nothing friendly about a British pilot being
shot down by a Patriot missile mistaking his plane for an
incoming Iraqi missile).

Earlier, the USS Vincennes had been responsible for the downing
of a civilian Airbus taking off from an Iranian airport, over the
Strait of Ormuz.

Still closer to us, the dropping by a US pilot of a 500-pound
bomb over Canadian troops patrolling in Afghanistan and killing
four was another reminder of US military carelessness.

So as not to appear anti-US, one ought not forget to mention
these countless incidents where US forces fire upon US forces.
These do happen too.

Which brings us to yesterday in Iraq. As usual, the sloppy US
military prefers to shoot first and ask questions later. This is
not 'friendly fire' as those who fire know perfectly well what
they are doing, and know perfectly well that they don't know upon
whom they are firing. Nevertheless, they shoot.

So, with Italy in turmoil after this latest episode of the
unintended killing of an ally, Nostradamus' prophecy about the US
destroying Paris with the same carelessness ought to appear, to
the unbiased eye, a more and more likely future event.

All it takes is built-in stupidity in the US military, something
demonstrated over and over, and anything can happen, including
the death of 3,000,000 in Paris. After all, the unintended
bombing of the Chinese Embassy in Belgrade, on May 7, 1999, was
enough to prompt Nostradamus to write his now famous X-72, so as
to hide this then future event in his encyphered poetry.
