Yes... "thought" and yet so far none of it has been found.
The weapons inspectors that many of you criticised as
being useless seem to have been doing ok after all eh tony?
Thinking something isn't enough reason to go to war hence the
infamous '45 minutes' claims that were politically necessary.

Bush is a chronic liar and a fear-monger. Now he's doing the
same thing with our Social Security program, over-stating the
present danger to the program. Bush is desperate to make a
name for himself and he's willing to sacrifice America to do
it.
When Bush proclaims a public danger, all the little lemming-
neocons quake in their boots and start running for the cliff.

Yep, because Saddam insisted in not cooperating with the agreements he
signed, abd refused to account for hundreds of tons of WMD materials.

And where, exactly, are those materials now tony? where are the weapons
that were deployable at 45 minutes notice that sparked this war in the first

'cos daddy's little boy wanted his revenge.
Let me insert one of your little snips...
'The weapons inspectors that many of you criticised as

But I guess you think we should have just hoped that everyhting was ok

You guess a lot of things that are wrong, that's most of your problem.
As I said previously, (another of your little snips)...
'Thinking something isn't enough reason to go to war hence the

But you didn't have the guts to respond to that as usual.

Likely buried in various parts of Iraq and/or Syria, hidden just like
that huge undreground facility was until last week.

Likely, maybe, possibly, still no reason for going to war.

The key word here is _thought_
Would you barge into your neighbours (whom for this purpose, you don't talk
to) house if you _thought_ they were teaching your childeren swear-words?
Or would you allow yourself time to gather all the facts before acting, so
as to not look like an arsehole, before you burst in accusing them of
something that never happened?
The UN may have _thought_ that there were weapons, but they also were
allowing the fact gathering to be completed before they went barging in...
Dubya, on the other hand, couldn't control his military erection, and thrust
on into Iraq... now, he (and you by extention) looks like an arsehole to
nearly all Iraqi's (and most other non-war mongering persons of planet
earth).

Dubya, on the other hand, couldn't control his military erection, and thrust
on into Iraq... now, he (and you by extention) looks like an arsehole to
nearly all Iraqi's (and most other non-war mongering persons of planet
earth).
No, no, it had nothing to do with Weapons of Mass Destruction, or the
mysterious mass-delusion that Saddam was to blame for 9/11 - 'twas to
FREE the Iraqi people from the patent-leather boot of tyranny.
Ladies and Gentlemen, the goalposts have left the stadium.

Just a glimpse of what the world (even the UN) thought Iraq had prior
to the war.

Of course not, and I'm sure that after the bombing of all
his storge and production site in December 1998, that Saddam
moved everything underground.
