Not Dover in '86 Chris. I was in Gloucester then.
Greece and the Middle East between 80 and 87 is possible
That Oktoberfest in Munich maybe?

I was at the funeral service for the dead Rolling Stone (WH)..Brian
Jones. He was a Cheltenham boy, and was buried in a marble coffin in
Cheltenham (Gloucestershire)
I worked there at the time...hence my presence amongst the tearful
teen-agers.
I find that people always...remember...me! It's the aging rocker look I
think ;)
In Bankok, just ask for 'Elvis' (I wish!) around Khao San...I get that
one several times a day, even though I don't really look like him at
all.
In France, it's 'Johnny'...Johnny Halliday, the equally aging (but far
better known and still performing rock) legend!
It's something I've long wondered about, and odd that people in here
should say the same thing. I find that almost daily, someone will wave
or greet me in the street...and I can't remember who they are, or
having ever met them.
I always thought it might be the African beads, crocodiles teeth, or
the two snakes heads (a cobra and a rattlesnake) hanging around my
neck, that makes me so...identifiable.
I wonder what Doc will make of that...someone who wears mummified
snakes heads ;)
