Yep, Woods can't wait to Kerry gets in to office. |

I think we all know what Bush's claims are worth.
Yep, Woods can't wait to Kerry gets in to office.
Announcement from the President's Oval Office: Attention Please, your
president is about to speak on behalf of the nation.
Kerry - Hello fellow Americans. Today my eyes were open. After I
called home the troops and pulled all our money out of education and
payed off reparations to Iraq for stupid Bush's polices. My good
friend Usama bin Laden and I had a long talk. We decided it would be
in the best interest of the country to round up all the Republicans
into concentration camps, then burn them in ovens. After this, he
tells me that America was so bad that we must forfeit America to him
and become his Janissaries and take over Europe and give it unto the
new United Arab World Council. After we conquered Europe we will all
be sent to live in communes of the likes of Mao-Tse-tung's glory days
and work on farms to feed the Arabs of the world. We will not need
cars, TV's or stereo's because we will work 16 hours a day and will be
too tired to have any type of entertainment or free time. I have told
him this is a good idea and have signed the document giving America
over to his regime. I know that all my supporters who voted for me are
with me on this because this was my plan in the first place. As an
embarrassed American, on how evil our country was, we must pay for our
sins. This program will take place immediately following the end of my
announcement. Thank you and good night.
_ TV Fuzz screen as TV is shut off and the sound of Arab street squads
approaching your neighborhoods commences the lefty dream has come
alive for America and Europe thank's to Kerry and his/her supporters.

================================================================================
I'm happy to say I haven't the faintest idea who Kerry is. It seems
obvious from the post that the individual is of unknown sex.
I wonder why someone who is of undetermined sex should have
supporters?
American schoolboys are odd children. Perhaps were they to play with
pretty numbered plastic cubes, rather than to pretend adulthood,
things might be better.
Oh...Hello McDonald. So sorry. I didn't see you there.

country in the world being commanded by a monkey is a dodgy

The NeoCon ( NeoNazi's ) in this group simply can't seperate Bush from
America ... dislike for Bush is automaticly translated into dislike for
America ... exactly like Guernon can't seperate dislike for the Israeli
gov't and it's policies for the whole Jewish race.
Bush has done an amazing job of wrapping his lying ***** in the U.S.
flag.....'either you're with us or against us'.

Well, they *could* separate Bush out if they wanted to, but in so doing they
would have to accept the American ideal of "Freedom of Speech", to which they
are vehemently opposed. It's quite obvious that they hate America and
everything it stands for.

The non-neocons are finally starting to catch on with the whole Abu Graib
scandal that goes right up into the Senior Staff of the Bush Administration. I
predict we'll see the neocon power base of the Republican party get the boot and
finally get some real, honest to goodness Conservatives in there instead of the
Nazi/Fascist wannabes who are currently running the GOP.

Ah yes, you write with such authority -- but with no source to back
you up. However, assuming your *speculation* is accurate, why was the
abuse stopped, in January, when it was reported by a soldier to his
superiors?
The soldier who will go to court-martial this week has been quoted in
numerous news sources -- he was asked if the abuse would have happened
if someone in the chain of command was present:
"Hell no," he said, "because our command would have slammed us. They
believe in doing the right thing. If they saw what was going on, there
would be hell to pay."
In a sworn statement, the woman who appears in many of the pictures
was asked if anyone had ever given specific orders on how to "break"
the detainees. She replied, "No." Asked why soldiers took pictures of
detainees in humiliating positions, she said: "We thought it looked
funny, so pictures were taken."

From Fox News, the Bush supporting outlet (2 separate articles):
http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,120072,00.html
Within months of the Sept. 11 attacks, White House counsel Alberto Gonzales
(search) reportedly wrote President Bush a memo about the terrorism fight and
prisoners' rights under the Geneva Conventions.
"In my judgment, this new paradigm renders obsolete Geneva's strict limitations
on questioning of enemy prisoners and renders quaint some of its provisions,"
Gonzales wrote, according to the report in Newsweek magazine. Secretary of State
Colin Powell (search) "hit the roof" when he read the memo, according to the
account.
<<
And from http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,120051,00.html :
According to the story, which hits newsstands Monday, the initial operation
Rumsfeld authorized gave blanket approval to kill or capture and interrogate
"high value" targets in the war on terrorism. The program stemmed from
frustrating efforts to capture high-level terrorists in the weeks after the
start of U.S. bombings in Afghanistan.
The program got approval from President Bush's national security adviser,
Condoleezza Rice (search), and Bush was informed of its existence, the officials
told Hersh.

Every indication is that you are a natural skeptic, so your
unquestioning fawning over Hersh (apparently because of his Pulitzer)
doesn't make since -- unless you're just completely politically
motivated. Who, you?
Hersh deserves his Pulitzer, but the winning of a Pulitzer does not
make someone perfect (in fact, there is an ongoing debate over a
Pulitzer given in 1932, and whether that Pulitzer should be revoked
because of the writer's innaccurate reporting).
Following is an excerpt from an article:
[quote] Buried 3,300 words inside a roughly 4,500-word article is the
following exoneration: "Rumsfeld may not be personally culpable." And
further down near the end was another: "The former intelligence
official made it clear that he was not alleging that Rumsfeld or
General Myers knew that atrocities were committed."
In Hersh's line of work, opinion-based reporting, he is absolutely
within bounds to attack Rumsfeld with as much tenacity as any rabidly
partisan Democrat. But the problem is the treatment then given by the
rest of the media.
The obvious question should be: did the media read Hersh's piece very
closely? The answer would seem to be "no," because there are many
questions that any semi-conscious reader would want answered before
making any conclusions. [end quote]

This is the same Pentagon that was claiming 3 weeks ago that all detainees were
being treated in accordance with the Geneva Convention, is it not? Of course the
sources are "anonymous", that's how investigative reporters get their material.
(THEY have multiple sources, but they do not name them in order to protect the
identities).

Oh, and I guess you missed the memo that got leaked from the White House
legal counsel about how the Geneva Convention was "quaint" but didn't apply ...
(look that one up yourself, I'm done with this thread).
