You white people came without any legal permission from the indigenous
peoples of North, Central, and South America. Nor did you come to just

our neighbors, our friends. You came as conquerors and you plundered

lands, treated us as inferior people, and lied and betrayed us in your
broken treaties.

Now, the great Hispanic people have come without your legal permission
to
the United States, where they do not come to plunder or to treat you as
inferior. They are your neighbors and friends, co-workers, and even
your
lovers and wives.

They deserve your respect and they deserve full legal rights to
integrate
into your land, your culture, your government. They are of your same
Christian religion.

Shame on you -- all of you Americans who want to make them felons,
criminals, and punish them harshly -- or forcibly deport them.

You stinking hypocrites. You lousy racists. You narrow-headed
hate-mongers.
